Thanks guys for the support
Blaqueangel, you are already on the right path.
The desire to remember dreams is very important. Once you show interest in your dreams, you will start to recall more.
The next thing I would say is definitely work on your dream diary. Maybe buy a black notebook and design it, the custom design notebook will be more appealing to you to fill. Even if all you remember is one word jot it down in your book. Jot down emotions when you wake up.
I would also suggest writing 1-2 sentences about your day, then the next morning write the dream down. When you look through your book, you may be able to see a trend in waking life and your dreams.
My gramma always told me not to share my dreams, because you will no longer have them. I dont agree with her(i wont tell her that lol) I have a few friends/family members who i tell them a interesting dream every now and then. I typically will tell someone if I had a dream about them. I do not hide facts or details. (I know someone who got sick from not telling everyone dreams in fear of scaring them) I tell the person the dream and usually it was meant for them to hear. Sharing my dreams has helped in my recall
I am working on a article about your room and the affects on your dreams. It is best to keep your room simple: no tv, laptop, etc. Your room is for sleeping. Keep your room orderly and your mind will be clear.
Sometimes I say and affirmation before bed ie. 'please show me what i need to do about my car' or 'please allow me to remember and understand my dream' 'please show me what i need to see'
When I think of more I will let you know
