i may not have any assistance for ur stuttering but perhaps for ur self-esteem...stuttering does not have any connection to intelligence & those who think so are narrow-minded, ignorant individuals...1 of the most intelligent men iv ever met was my philosophy professor who stuttered frequently...personally i found that aspect about him adorable & kinda sexy though i didnt find him as such physically...just thought id help u understand that being & accepting YOU will help ease ur frustration & stress...then who knows- ur stuttering may subside w/out u noticing
I think you make a valid point here. When I was a small child I suffered with a horrific stuttering problem for years. I could barely get the words out. The only thing is I stuttered far worse around my family and rarely around anyone else. I was treated as the black sheep in the family and developed a very low self-esteem around them, and became a clam. I was definitely traumatized! The more they taunted me, the worse it got. Eventually I drew away from them and my speech improved slowly over the years as began to learn to love myself. However, to this day I still have issues with speaking and is something I am diligently working on.
