chasing a snake

I dreamed that i had a pet snake and it got out and i was looking all over town trying to capture this snake but he just kept running away from me.

I was excited and afraid at the same time. I remember before my snake got away i had him tied up in a plastic bag inside of a cooler. i went in the house and began doing something else ...an out the blue i though oh my god my snake is gonna suffocate..no sooner than i go to the garage my snake is slithering out the door. i could have caught him but i was afraid he would bite me. i dont really lose him for long periods of time. i would see him slither into my neghbors yard an dissapear and i would ask the person in the yard if they saw him. No sooner than i would ask i would see him slither across the street to someone elses yard... I really loved this snake in my dream but i was unsure of how to go about capturing him.

If we are to still go down the line of sexual desires/relationships. Seems like almost everything you wrote can correlate to reality. "excited and afraid at the same time" You are ready for these actions to occur, but feel some doubt.  Why do you have this poor snake in a cooler? Are you afraid that this relationship may get to steamy for you to handle? Are you to overpowering in relationships? Whatever the case is, you are aware of how you are because in the dream you realized he was suffocating. You know you have the ability to enthrall and entice whoever you desire, but you are afraid of what will happen once done, i say this because you could have caught the snake, but didnt bc you were scared. Are you scared that in a relationship the person may go elsewhere (snake went to neighbors yard) "I really loved this snake in my dream, but I was unsure of how to go about capturing him" ... sounds like love. sounds like a crush that you arent sure if it will be reciprocated. Like most, rejection is feared when it comes to like, love, crushes, etc.
