I have very vivid dreams and the majority of the dreams I have are predictive in nature, but I can't remember them after I wake up. I know the dreams are predictions because I see a flash of light, get light headed, and remember the dream immediately  before whatever what I dreamed about happens. Maybe I have some fairly strong psychic powers.  How can I remember what I dream about?

How can I remember what I dream about?

i am usually able to remember my dreams and i think it's because i have convinced myself that i will remember them upon awakening. i did a quick search though and found this...http://www.wikihow.com/Remember-Dreams

it might be helpful.

Thanks! Those are some great tips. I've tried the one about telling myself that I'll remember my dreams, but it doesn't work that well. I guess it will work better if I use it in conjunction with the other tips.

A few things that help for me:
* keep an open mind: dont think you dont remember your dreams--- change you thoughts to;  you are open to receiving messages
*try sleeping on your back
*do not open your eyes when you wake in the morning
*recall anything that comes to your mind before you open your eyes
*keep a diary, recorder, cell near by to record your dreams
*diet
*set your alarm for about 2 hrs after you sleep or early morn like 6am or a few hrs before you are set to awake. sleep runs in 90 min cycles and we normally dream at the beginning and end of our cycles. so you want to wake up right after you have a dream (we dream about 2 hrs a night and dreams last 5-30 min each) The dreams we remember the most are the ones we have right before we wake up in the morning.
* lavender on your sheets/pillow
*visualization

most important thing is not to think you cant remember your dreams or you dont remember your dreams. Everyone dreams, its just a matter of being receptive. Just keep your thoughts positive. throughout the day visualize yourself remembering your dreams and having dreams etc.

if I think of more ill post.

Try gotu kola, or ginkgo biloba, or some dream teas. Mostly you'll remember them when you start trying to. Even if you only remember a snippet, write that down, or if its just a feeling you remember, write that shit down, lol. Like "I was playing basketball", if that's the only thing, write that down. Then your subconsious will realize you want to remember the dreams. It would also help to meditate before you goto bed, clear your mind of the thoughts of the world and prepare for dreaming. This works 100% for me. And like Knix said, make sure when you wake up that you don't start worrying about how the day is going to go, its great to stay in bed, think about your dream for a little while. Detoxing helps also! I just did a coconut water fast, and I had amazing astral experiences.

Thanks for the advice y'all. I'm gonna try out your suggestions and let you know if they work.

good advice by elnegro. I think drinking tea will get you in a relaxed state of mind. I have taken chamomile, yerba mate, kava kava, valerian root, dherbs ethereal bliss.

If you have a crystal book, look in it for stones that help with dream recall.

I have taken dherbs activated charcoal before sleep. and nightly i do a chakra meditation before bed.

When I have a dream that was just so awesome that I am actually upset when I wake up and realize it was just a dream..I will lay there and replay the whole dream in my head as soon as I wake up...for some reason that commits it to my memory.

I have been sleeping with an amethyst under my pillow with wonderful results!  Shocked  I have also had amazing results with gotu kola.  I haven't worked up the nerve yet to combine them... I may find myself having the spiritual experience of my life... lol.  Oh, and sticking to a raw food diet helps a lot too... I've had some of my most profound and memorable dreams on the full body detox.
