i was on a message board and there was an article on rev. run's daughter angela simmons speaking about her decision not to have sex until she was married. there was a female who typed that was a useless waste of time because she has a 44 year old cousin who was virgin who is now dying of cancer and will now die a virgin. some people lambasted the girl by saying her cousin did not miss out on anything because she  still experienced love through relationships with men.  another girl typed she also had a relative who died a virgin also. i think she said the relative was 60 plus.  women were saying the women did not miss out anything because they still experienced love with men through dating just not the physical aspect of love.

I'll bet it is for religious reasons. It is a new age. "Do not have sex till marriage" should be changed to "do not have sex iressponsibly or with someone you do not love". Children is the highest consequence so if you are not using contraceptives you better have a plan to take care of your child. This means money.

Yeah, some people take that virgin thing too far.  If you see yourself getting up there in age and still haven't done it yet, geesh!  Break a rule or two.  I saw some guests on the Tyra Banks show who waited until they were married to have sex.  Some of these women were up there in age... they were not spring chickens.  They tried to have sex on their wedding nights and guess what... the men could not fit!  Apparently if you don't use it, you could possibly lose it.  These women had to have doctors provide rods to insert in their vagina to dilate it in hopes that there is a fit.  Also, these women seemed to have serious hangups when it came to sex.

Women used to wait until they were married because technically they got married at very young ages, even as teenagers.  Waiting until you're 44 is just ridiculous.

I greatly think that these women missed out on something.  If they truly experienced love with a man, then the sex would have soon followed.  And further because sex in a loving relationship helps to boost your immunity, it could have helped to extend their lives.  And with that said, I should definitely go out and get me some.
