Gemini bashing

I'm a Gemini and after reading things in different forums I have come to the conclusion that people seem to be inclined to think that we are the crazies of the Zodiac. It's very rare when I hear (or see) people with other signs talking about Geminis that they have anything positive to say. It's almost always something like we have multiple personality disorder, we're too undependable and indecisive, we talk too much, etc. Is there anyone who has ever had good experiences with someone who's a Gemini? Where are the rest of my Twins at? Back me up on this one, lol.

Both of my parents are Geminis. I generally get along with Geminis personally. I've never really seen a lot of bashing of them, anymore than other signs I guess. Just my observation 

Now I do have a friend with a lot of Gemini in her chart and yes she does talk a lot to the point where sometimes look at her like...please I can't take it anymore! LOL. My dad does too and yes he does have 2 different personalities and is unpredictable LOL but he also has Cancer moon so that is something else to deal with. My mom on the other hand does not remind me of the typical Gemini traits and she can be quiet and reserved (kind of like me when I meet new people) and her overall personality is the same (unless provoked with her Scorpio moon LOL) but I haven't done a chart for her yet to see what else balances her out.

I'm not taking it personal at all, I'm just curious. It's just that I don't see a lot of those traits in myself and some of the Geminis I'm close too. I guess there's other aspects that come into play other than my sun sign. I'm quite reserved when first meeting people and I'm some what of a wall flower...or at least I try to be, but for some reason I end up sticking out anyway.

Maybe that's what it is. The only time I've been imbalanced and demonstrated the full traits of my sign was when I had a nervous breakdown last year. Erratic like a mug, lol.

I just broke up with my Leo ex-boyfriend today. We were friends first and we should've kept it like it was. It seems like Leos make quite great friends for me, but as lovers...nope! Y'all can be really bossy and stubborn sometimes. And Mercury is in Taurus in my chart, so I'm stubborn also. And jealous and overly sensitive sometimes too.

oh yea im stubborn but i know the negative traits of my sign and there are plenty...lol but im pretty ballanced.....as far as the picture; At one point in time there was an option to add an avatar. i was trying to change my picrure but it wont let me change or delete. im thinking they took that feature away.

Hey there - this is your polar opposite in the zodiac, Sagittarius. I have some words for you...

First and foremost, Beloved, you need to learn to have fun with the signs. One of the reasons I am so great with Astrology is because I know how and when to apply it.

Getting back to you- let me tell you a recent experience I had. A Leo sistah I know asked me to do her chart. Before I did it I gave her a crash course on the basics. As a small quiz one of the things I had her do was tell me all 12 signs (in order) and one word associated with it. She did very well with it, but of all the words she could come up with in relation to Sagittarius, guessed what she said...AGGRESSIVE!!! Now of course I had to ask her a second time "did you really say Sagittarians are aggressive???" I could have taken it personal and debated her over it, but I chose to humanize with her and have a little fun in understanding where she was coming from. Come to find out she had a Sag b/f before who was quite aggressive. Then again in being understanding, I am well aware of our tendencies and potential to be aggressive.

Point being sistah, everyone will see things a different way. I am very "weak" according to my chart when it comes to your side of the zodiac, so I can not relate as much. However, my queen is a Taurus with a Mercury-Aries and Venus in Gemini, not to mention her "love" asteroids are in Gemini, so I can see it in her.

I close by telling you my personal viewpoint of y'all. I would not say that you should stop what you're doing, but be careful and cautious in what you do. I know a Gemini sistah I used to work with who had a "secret" relationship with the manager, yet it was so obvious to everyone because she wasn't careful with who she shared certain information with, and how she acted around certain people. I also gotta say go easy on the phones! lol I know some Gemini natives who spend more time on the phone than off the phone; it's an amazing sight. On the positive side, I appreciate your ability to multitask, and you make some of the most skilled readers, writers, and speakers on the planet. I truly wish I could collaborate and corroborate more often with Geminis than I do to date. Gemini and Sagittarius make a very excellent team.

By the way, although a Sag, I have a 3rd House stellium (naturally ruled by Gemini) including my Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Saturn, which should explain my talkativeness. Not to mention I am a Virgo-Rising native, meaning Mercury (same planet ruling Gemini) is my chart ruler.

I have a serious problem with people perceiving me as being too serious and having an attitude problem when I'm joking, yet when I'm being serious they think I'm Mo'Nique or Wanda Sykes, lol. I wonder what in my chart causes that. I can see how I came off as complaining, but I wasn't. Wasn't mad either. I was just curious as to why people always said crazy things about Geminis when people found out my birthday. For instance, My best friend's birthday is April 21st and mine is June 3rd. When she tells someone her birthday it wouldn't illicit an as emotional response like the ones I would get. Hers would be more like "Oh you're a Taurus. I should've known that's why you're so stubborn.", but with me it's more like "Hell no! Man, ya'll some crazy mother@#$%^s!!!! One minute you coolin' and the next ya'll going off on people left and right". I was just curious because a lot of the things they say about Geminis do not apply to me. First of all my rising sign is Virgo, so I come off as shy or stuck up to a lot of people. I'm not a big talker, but when I do talk I am blunt, direct, and I try to get my point across with the least amount of words. I wonder if that has anything to do with my Mercury being in Taurus. Oddly enough my writing style is somewhat elaborate. I also don't do the Dr. Jekyl & Mr. Hyde thing that we get accused of so often. Now my father on the other hand, he's what I call an über Gemini. His Sun, risining sign, Mercury, and Mars are all in Gemini. Let's just say that my childhood was interesting, lol. But like you said, these people probably had experiences with Geminis who exhibit all of the "crazy" behavior we're known for and they're categorizing every other person with the same sign. Most people aren't aware that there's so much more to astrology than your sun sign.

My little brother is a Sagittarius, and even though I'm 8 years older than him, out of my 5 siblings he and I are the closest. It's been that way since he was born. Also, the men that I've had the strongest attractions for have been Sagittarius. Does this have anything to do with Sagittarius being my zodiac opposite?

I feel the same way about Leos. I've been in two relationships with Leos. Matter of fact I just dumped one last week. I find that as far as I'm concerned Leos make great friends, but trying to be in a relationship with one...uh uh. I'm still good friends with both of the Leos I dumped, lol. I hope my next boyfriend is either and Aries or a Sagittairus.
