I remember very clearly between the ages of 3-5, every morning right before I would wake up I would float around in the air and bounce off of the ceiling and the walls and there would sometimes be two other little boys, one black and one white, who would be playing along with me. After I played around for a little while I would go back into my body and then my physical body would wake up and I'd be alert and refreshed. When I would tell my mother or my grandmother about what happened they would tell me that it was just a dream, but I KNOW what I experienced was real. Has anyone else experienced anything similar to this?

Lol just playing wit you!!! I have found that astral projection is real. It is a shift in awareness or consciousness. Science has identified that there are different states of sleep. Astral travel usually occurs during REM. In the morning and right before dreaming. It is best to do it in the morning IMO because doing it at night can make u feel drained later. If you could astral project you can astral project. I suggest if you are still adept at it to balance your chackras and move on to light body development.

I haven't done it since right after I started kindergarten. It was never something I consciously did. It just happened. How can I start doing astral projection again? Exactly how do you balance your chakras? Is it something I can do on my own or do I need to see a professional who's experienced at this? Is there some kind of divination device I can use for this?

you need to open up your 4th 6th and 7th chackras
Your fourth is obviously already open.

you can open the later through focusing on them mentally and meditating while visualizing a chord rise from each respective position and like a stem. they blossom as flowers.

Or you can use the om technique or chanting technique

As far as divination. I don't see how that will help with astral projection but you can always simply affirm before going to sleep that you will be astral projecting so your being can know what the deal is.

The best position you can lay in is on your back.
You have to breathe special as well.
Deep breaths
inhale expanding your stomach and exhale contracting your stomach.

You can use crystals (lapis Lazuli or amethyst...) you can use essential oils aromatherapy. (chamomile, lavender...)
You can also recall the events consistently and frequently on a daily basis and let your body know you want to experience astrals again. Remember your experience and command that it happen again.

Listen for a sound a well. (tune in)
It must be silent for you to hear it.
It is something like static, high pitched whine, there is also a roaring waterfall type sound, and then there is a kind of song as well.

Simply focus on the crown chackra which you have opened and this is now what you are.

I will tell you more later.

but just marinate in that for a little bit.

My personal technique.

Lay flat on your back.
Breathe deeply from the diaphragm.
Stay absolutely still with your arms and legs spread slightly at your side, but not crossing.
Look up into the darkness and simply imagine that you have floated out of your body.
Remember not to move at all.
You must stay awake the whole time as this is the point. You are not falling asleep.
Your focus and concentration or point of reference should switch from the eyes to third eye.
It must be absolutely silent in your immediate space.
A police siren on the street might not be distracting but if you feel that something needs your personal attention your intelligence will wake your whole body up.
Remember to keep breathing and to stay absolutely still.
In time with your eyes closed you might start to look around and you are not using your eyes.
Focus on the sounds you hear.
you can tune into a number of frequencies.
I tune into a high pitched whine that is the highest frequency I can hear.
The lower pitched roars are rather dismal though not unexplorable.
at this point with your body absolutely still you might find that your body has become paralyzed. (this should happen within about 15 min)
Your focus now goes to the crown chakra
relax and breathe deeply. You will float above your body.
sometimes just a hand will come out or maybe just a foot. Or maybe your head can only turn slightly and slowly.

This is the critical point because if your body has not fully paralyzed then the whole thing will be ruined.
You might want to move your astral hand and move instead your real hand.
Its okay there will be more times to go.

If you are successful then try and let go your entire body.

If you are on your back look out for a vortex (star gate) spiraling above you.

I talked to my spiritual adviser today and I forgot to ask her about what you suggested, but she told me that my 1st and 2nd chakras are partially blocked and she gave me a meditation to unblock it. Should I wait until I balance my chakras before doing this?

I have had similar experiences, but my memories of them are spread out over many years.  I remember when I was 7 I "woke up" downstairs in my neighbors apartment.  She and her boyfriend were having sex and someone told me I shouldn't be there.  I've had other experiences where I felt myself leaving my body or returning after having been somewhere.  None of them were fully conscious projections.

Recently, I've had to fight myself to stay in my body.  It comes naturally for me too, but I'm not yet curious to see what's on the other side.  There were a few nights when I decided that I would like to see what would happen if I go with the flow, but nothing happened.  It always seem to happen when I don't want it to.  By the way, I believe possibly ALL of my chakras were closed when this started to happen.  Maybe not, because I was also having precognitive dreams.
