The way I understand it, the houses go in order of the zodiac from your ascendant.

1st house (ascendant): Leo
2nd: Virgo
3rd: Libra
4th: Scorpio
5th: Sagittarius
6th: Capricorn
7th: Aquarius
8th: Pisces
9th: Aries
10th (midheaven): Taurus
11th: Gemini
12th: Cancer


The weird thing about my chart is that there is no Pisces or Virgo in my houses. Instead, Aquarius and Leo are both repeated.
