Folks... this movie was the bomb!
i really liked it!!!
Uhura was fyne!!!!!
Spock was a tyrannical jack ass
And Captain Kirk was also a proverbial jackass as well.
The storyline was great had depth and is easy to follow.
The cinematography is Excellent mainly because most of the stuff filmed is real and not animation.
The concept design was creative.

Now I was by no means a trekky.
I admit that the original version of Star Trek was rather neat. But it was just another show for me.
All other Star Treks after that where garbage in my humble opinion.

Guys this star trek was WAYYY different.
I really liked it.
And Uhura is FYne!!!
I am officially a TREKKY.
I recomend this movie to all who are into SyFy
If you liked

Star Wars
Star Trek
lord of the Rings
Harry Potter
and all that other SyFy stuff you will love Star Trek

Did I mention that Uhura was fyne?
I wasn't even tripping over the fact that black people of course had minor roles except for Uhura and that Uhura fell in love with a white guy (Spock)
I couldn't do anything except sit back and enjoy the movie.

I finally saw this movie and I loved it. The effects were great and so was the story line. It was great how they showed how it all began. (the uss enterprise crew). For some reason when Star Trek trailer was released, I thought I saw flashes of Uhuru and Kirk in some intimate scenes together and it suprised me when Uhuru and Spock were "together in this movie?"   Huh Maybe it's my imagination. Undecided
