shopping at china town for detox?

I'm still inclonclusive as to whether china town is a good option to shop at for the full body detox, or any other cleanse. I am currently doing my 2nd detox for the year and I just cannot figure out if the vegetables and fruit are organic or not. I realize every fruit does not have to be organic, however I try to ask and it's so frustrating, either they all play "dumb", or they cannot understand me. But damn!, they got some good cheap prices compared to whole foods, or other places, (I'm in the bay area Oakland by the way). Furthermore, I do know for a fact you have to be careful of many of there canned products cause they mix alot of sulfurs, chemicals, preservatives and other commercial crap just like your were shopping at safeway or the corner liquor store. I tell black folks, just because its china town, doesn't mean its safe, read all labels!!! Any thoughts?
