Hello Dherbs Fam:

I seeking suggestions.  I've been making smoothies and/or juicing veggies/fruits for quite some time.  Now I just read an article that it's not wise to juice or make smoothies then store to drink later because you start to loose the nutirition that comes from the fruits/veggies.  I've been doing this and bringing it to work so I can have a mid-day snack so I can have something on my stomach prior to going to the gym, does that mean I need to stop juicing to drink later??

Smoothies are better for the later because the enzymes are less delicate I think. I think the enzymes in juice break down after 15 minutes. You can make them last a little longer if they are sealed in something airtight like a mason jar. Also try to keep it away from heat and light. lemon juice will make it last a little longer. Also, I heard ionizing magnets can extend the life a little, but not too much.

Luckily, I found a place close to the studio where I train that makes fresh juice.

Can anyone recommend a good juicer for a good price?
