There are a number of cosmic laws, don't know the exact number. On this plane it seems when you isolate something, like a compound for instance, and use it you seem to do your self a disservice in the long run. Do you think there are any potential hazards to only living or obeying 1 cosmic law?? With the way a lot of this commercialized metaphysics is dished out, do you think there are potential hazards to only partially understanding the Law of Attraction??

It definitely is a hazard imo. Newcomers to so called 'new age' philosophies simply try to 'think' of what they want absent understanding the various compounds of these cosmic laws.
I remember reading the Mental science manual and there are several laws that, when understood and used properly can work.
Nothing is wrong with the Law of attraction, it simply is just not producing real world results when
application
isn't used.
Meditating and then daydreaming about a mustange won't make you have one.
If it were easy like that, imagine how everyone would be? Everything would offset each other because there would be so much conflicting thoughts and manifestations like for example, *thinks about having $1,000,000* while someone else thinks of me being poor.

Didn't watch the videos but I think the problem lies in the fact that some people do not seek understanding past what is "dished" out to them. People watch these movies and read books on the Law of Attraction for instance but don't look beyond that source. It makes sense to me that you can use that one law but that you are using the others simultaneously....for instance okay you want to attract such and such but you have to be mindful of your vibration, polarities, action, transmute the energies, cause and effect, etc etc...all at the same time. In my mind, it's not possible to only use one at a time. When I think of the various laws that I am aware of, I can consciously recall where I stand with each one at a particular moment. IMO the movies and books etc were nice and all but people are not getting the full story if they stop there at that one particular books and/or video or like you all said, if they are not applying the concepts fully. It sounds nice and easy but takes some mindfulness, especially in the beginning...maybe it's just me.
As usual: most people just want a quick fix, then complain about that thing when it doesn't work when actually they just didn't put in the work.

it's funny you say this because im preparing a video and I said the same exact thing. "the secret" feeds into the instant gratification/quick fix mentality

Personally, I think it is wise for "The Secret" to incite the material side of the LOA because that's where most people are and at least it will get people thinking about the LOA at all! An ingenious plan in my assessment of things!

...and that's where they'll stop. They won't get past the quick fix because
real
transformation takes
REAL WORK
!
THE SECRET
was a sugar rush that got many people crashing. If you read any of the books by the participants in the movie, they go deeper and further than the flick.
For example, Loral Langemeier just released her fourth book on changing your financial reality. I like her philosophy because she knows that you have to radically increase your income in order to permanently get financially free.
It's working hard on YOURSELF that makes real transformation. What do you invest in yourself?

Is the New Age movement closely tied in or even a esoteric spin off of Christianity?
Many references are made to angels from the Bible in regards to energy or meditative work.
The sought after ‘Christ’ consciousness.
The New Age movement really exploding in the U.S. a predominately Christian nation so it is said.
Why is the New Age movement exploding in the U.S?
Is it because it is the newest ‘world/country’ albeit it has help from technology and capitalism?
Does asking /offering something of/to the universe make your askings/offerings/intentions/ritual weaker than asking a specific deity??
