To me numerology seems much more accurate and straight to the point. The deeper I'm getting into astrology the more conficting info there is , and inconsistant info.
I agree with you to an extent, because with both of them it depends on what system you use. I remember mentioning a while back that some people prefer to use Natal Astrology, whereas others prefer Sidereal, then you have others who like Equal House system and so on and so forth. Overall, i'd encourage at least familiarizing yourself with as many of them as possible (just for comparative purposes) and then stick with the one most fitting for you. I personally like Natal Astrology better because I find it far more practical and applicable. Then again, it takes knowing how to use it.
With Numerology, I found that it depends once again as stated above what system you use. I personally like the system where
fadic addition is used (adding numbers up until you come to a single digit). I also like it when the information behind the numbers is straight-to-the-point (as you mentioned), but I found that any system can be concise once you know how to use it. Between both Numerology and Astrology once I learn how to make my own interpretations, I too will be straight-to-the-point! Accuracy depends on how the person/native sees it. Going back to Numerology, in theory your Sun, Moon, and Ascendant are supposed to match up with certain numbers. Problem is, depending on what system you use you get two different numbers with two different breakdowns. For the most part with Astrology, you may get two different signs depending on the system, but the meanings are very similar.
At the end of the day it depends on which system(s) fit you best, but I highly encouraged at least becoming aware of all of them, then as I stated above sticking with the one(s) that make more sense to you.
