i have a question

am not poor or anything maybe middle class but in this time money is really really hard to come by.
my question is how do u guys maintain being a vegan??

cause me and my wife try so hard but whole food cost alot of money we spent 200$ at whole food and eat for maybe a week
then the organic vegetables and fruits do not last long some even end up going bad in days.
plus another thing is we do not get to full off it i find my self getting up at night and eating maybe 1 or 2 times.
so we just end up buying chicken or beef so we can stay full and its cheap Angry

so how do u guys do it? is regular stores fruits and vegetables could do the job the same as organics?
and are there any great water filters out there??

o i know tons of people who want to stop eating all the nasty shit out there but they just can afford it.

sometimes it is hard to maintain, but look at life as if there's food everywhere, and then you'll get what you want, maybe try shopping at a store that's cheaper...

though the fruits aren't organic, they still have some bit of life-force within them.

In hard times the best thing to use is rice and grains... beans, rice, avocados... some fruits if you can afford.
The less meat the better... the less vibration of dead you have within your stomach the better, a high lively vibration only will bring you into a situation where food is alive, and around people who eat to live.

Try using Raw oats and bananas with rice milk, or you can use other fruits such as grapes... very filling in hard times.

My personal prospective is that we're all fruitarian, and even veggies aren't human food.

I suggest doing a 21 day orange juice fast... the best way to renew the body and get more into the live vibration.

an animal would only be good if eating it raw while it's alive... and even that's bad...

some animal products do have life force such as raw milk... but that's so damaged these days that you can't even drink it.
There was once a time where people would fast on raw milk if sick, now those ages are over. But we make due with what we have.

focus on food, but focus more on life-force

Hug a tree, walk bare-footed on the dirt, and sun gaze... while your still eating bad, it's not about what goes into the mouth, but more what goes out of your mind.

everything is 50/50... ever notice some vegans have cancer and other health problems and look sick, and always broke...

while some people eat ramen noodlez, MC donalds, and other fast foods and still look bright?... because their ignorance contributes to their happy thoughts, they have no idea what's going on here.

Now will they live longer than a vegan, most likely no...

sooner or later that stuff takes a toll on the mind... you would have to be a guru master to be able to eat a quater pounder and convert it into light once inside the body.

you can use oats as your filler... but remember to add some life force in there... even if your taking wheatgrass shots everyday.

ALSO!!!

this is one mistake many vegans make...

stop buying already made products... salsas, chips...

the only place you should be shopping is the produce section... Fruits and Veggies... nothing else... maybe some raw grains like oats.

and use the rest on herbs...

you can also sound charge water to get different vitamins and metal vibrations such as gold, vitamin-b, iron, vitamin C and DNA light body foods...

air and sun is also important

I'm coming out with a CD based on vitamin water created through nothing but sound...

also for water... invest in a water distiller... if not use it from the store for now...

But make sure to charge it with sun, sound or love from your mind and heart.

quick question...i saw you mention this fast in a recent thread. curious about why orange juice is the substance of choice.

it's basically done in the simplest form...

8 oranges juiced... with 8 cups of distilled water...

the whole point is for the body to use less digestion as possible while suppling it with life force to continue while cleaning... pulling metals and mud out.

you'll notice the body can repair itself... you can get to alkaline very fast this way.

but before fasting and cleaning I suggest anyone with amalgam fillings to try getting them removed as cleaning can leak the mercury out of the teeth at a very fast rate.

some have even reported their fillings cumbling out...

which proves they aren't supposed to be in the teeth in the first place.

great for males who want to save the jizz up... you don't get horney at all.

Where do you live? Here in NY (I live on Long Island): the grocery store in my neighborhood supports Long Island Farmers and has veggies and fruits on stock. We also have small grocery stores that arent as big as trader joes or whole foods, but they still have reasonably priced goods. If you are trying to go organic, you can try that route. OR when money is low, I go the chinese market or those 'ethnic' markets (ie. jewish, indian, caribbean, etc) they have cheaper veggies than chain grocery stores. It may not be organic, but its better than Mcdonalds.

http://organicconsumers.org/btc/BuyingGuide.cfm --> I found local and chain stores on this site. I also did a google search on farmers markets on long island. I found sites that list farms or when the farmers come to local neighborhoods. This all just on Long Island, in the City they have a big market in Union Square.

So you never know what is near your home.

Eat simple. Try to avoid buying a lot of processed foods. Shop at Farmer's Markets. Sam's Club or Costco if you have one in your area.
I don't buy up a lot of food to last the whole week. I only buy for myself, but I'm in the store at least 3 times per week, sometimes more. That way you don't waste a lot of money buying food that will before you get a chance to eat it.

Also, search for other markets in the area as someone else mentioned and find out when they get shipments. That way you may be able to get the freshest foods first and not the picked over foods that may spoil faster (like bananas, avocados, stuff like that if you buy it). Buy simple fruits and veggies and season them well to make up for the taste that you are looking for in the convenience foods, which it sounds like you could be buying a lot of if you are shopping for $200 a week. I also agree, buy some beans and things like that if you like those.  I also agree with consuming more nutrient dense foods, that way you are satisfied at a cellular level and not just for the feeling of being full. Eat fiber rich foods as well, they are more filling.  Smiley

on a metaphysical side. Dont think of yourself as poor, middle class, struggling for money, wishing you could eat healthy etc. I used to think about money all the time (taurus), because I want so many things. Then I would never have any money. I went from always having money to counting pennies. Then I just decided ima stop thinking im broke. Like Goddessey said to do " I circulated my money". Now i don't worry about money anymore. Randomly money finds me!!

Strange thing: I spent almost $500 dollars(stipend from school), doing car maintenance and I was so stressed(that was my FBD and other dherb stuff money). Then I decided to just let go and relax. A week later a relative of mine gave me a wonderful graduation gift of $500!!! I was able to use that money to buy the dherb products, some fruits and veggies, etc. I also been wanting a personal trainer forever. But thought it was to much money and that buying good food would be costly. I stopped thinking about it. A few days later, I was given $100 by my granma to join the gym. I held the money in my wallet for like 2 weeks (I was lazy and tryna do the Esther hicks method), I randomly then got 500 dollar deposited into my account. My scholarship stipend was still coming in even after I graduated! I took that as a sign, went straight to the gym. That night 8/31 was the last night for a 50% off personal trainer package with an additional bonus of 5 months membership to the gym. I thought to myself "Wow talk about Law of Attraction at work". Almost like everything came full circle; the original school money I spent on car maintenance came back to me eventually.

All this happened in 1 1/2 months. true story

Moral of the story. stop stressing and thinking about it. That 10$ in your pocket, dont think "I cant spend it" Go out to the market and buy you some veggies. The positive thoughts and energy will bring what you desire.

lol.  I mostly abstain from stressing about buying food because right now I'm not working but somehow I always get my money back or I get what I wanted through someone else.  I'll be home hungry thinking about something banging, then someone will just come lend me money or I'll get something to do and get money.  I had a whole week buying lunch at vegan stores around my way.  This saturday I want to go to NY(brooklyn) and go to a couple vegan spots.

i don't think anyone was implying you were poor. it looks as if they were giving you what you asked for -- suggestions on how to eat as a vegan while working with what you have monetarily.

you already stated that you weren't poor in the original post and that this question was to help others. it seems you are a bit too concerned with folks thinking you are economically challenged.

a thank you would have been sufficient...
