PEACE,

For those who don't mind sharing, what is your routine intake of foods, liquids, and herbs?   I'm speaking of things you intake on a regular basis (daily or weekly).

I ask this because I would like to know how you arrived to your decision in your choices since it is not necessary for a person to eat or drink every healthy food or drink on the planet to maintain optimum health.

For me personally, my mornings consists of water (room temperature), herbal teas and fruit (raw). My lunchtime meal is the largest meal of the day. I take/eat lunch between 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. My lunch selection varies based upon what I have a taste for. My number one selection for lunch is a big, green, cruciferous salad with Romaine or Green-leaf lettuce, red cabbage, shredded carrots, cucumbers, Kalamata olives (my favorite), and a cherry tomoto or two. I use natural VEGAN salad dressing made by Follow Your Heart and sometimes I make my own.

Other days I may eat a Garden-burger (veggie burger), falafel, dolmas, tabouli, soup (barley, lentils, borsch); steamed vegetables, baked potato (w/ Veganaise, Earth Balance buttery spread, sea salt, and chives), etc.

I snack after lunch, usually a fruit bar, salted (sea salt, of course) seeds and/or nuts; a fruit smoothie.

I rarely eat dinner, esp. when at home. There's an exception when I'm out of town and with people. Eating too late or near bedtime impaired my health and sleeping - too rough and hard on my digestive tract.

I make my own herbal teas, sweetened with organic grade B maple syrup with a little lemon or lime juice added. I drink crystal water throughout the day. It is alkaline and oxgenated!

I also have a juicer and drink my cocktail of apples, celery and carrot almost every day (1 glass). I also take wheatgrass 2-3 times a week.

I take the following Dherbs formulas daily: Vitamin C Combo, Electric Greens, and Iodine Phosphate. These provide me with the necessary nutrients I require. I sporadically use the Bowel Mover formula (at night). I take Blue Green algae daily too!

When I feel the need, I eat a sweet treat which is usually Rice Dream ice cream alternative or Uncle Eddie's vegan cookies (Oatmeal-Raisin or Chocolate Chip).

I eat light all the time and thus do not have digestive disturbances and/or headaches. I am naturally thin/light or what is called "raw boned." However, I have wonderful health on all levels and I attribute this good health on all levels to my diet, lifestyle and mindset/positive outlook on life.

Peace!
