If you believe that TV and movies...

...are used to get the masses accustomed to an idea before it happens. What do you think about a new show coming out this season called Flash Forward? 

From the commercial, it seems that the premise of the show is that something happens to cause millions of people to lose consciousness simultaneously for 2 minutes and 17 second, during which they have flashes of themselves 6 months in the future. Of course this causes chaos immediately due to the accidents caused by who lost consciousness while operating vehicles, aircrafts or machinery...and people are trying to figure out if these were true premonitions. Apparently, it based upon a book of the same title...has anyone read it?

I've always been into Sci-Fi type stuff, but now to me it appears that there a greater abundance of programs that openly show sci-fi and metaphysical ideas like LOST, the 4400, Eureka and Heroes.  So if there are no coincidences, why do you think this is happening now?

I saw into the future a week ago in my sleep.
i was in school and the teacher was lecturing!!!

2 months later I'm in school and the teacher is lecturing

I had the dream when I was applying for college!!!

I go to NOVA (northern va community college)

The campus looked a little different in my vision but it was practically the same

Also yesterday I fell into a deep meditation unwillingly!!!
during class

I was mad because I try to induce the state and it refuses to come at times and now in the middle of class I cant even help myself

So I am hearing the teacher lecture and stuff but it s just going in one ear and out the other!!!
I try so hard to focus but I just hear a voice and see all kinds of colors and shapes just floating around in the air it was weird and the first time it ever happened to me!!!


Then I made the connection!!!

when I fell into that state in class was the "time" I was seeing into the future in my vision moths ago!!!

It made so much sense yesterday!!!
but now only a little
lol


Also last night one of the most powerful visions came to me right before I swear I was about to go into like another universe!!! (At least that's what usually happens when I feel the way I did last night)

I was seeing so many different worlds and experiencing them all at the same time!!!

Then in this world I felt something creeping up my leg!!!
It was like a breeze but I remembered I had the covers on and I thought oh snap I need to wake up I tried and of course couldn't

Unfortunately before anything to exciting or out of the ordinary happened (well... sorta)

My dad totally barged into my room and I woke up in a cold sweat with my heart beating like a million beats per second!!!

I was soooo mad

I just knew something extraordinary was about to happen!!!

On top of that there was nothing in my sheets or on my leg except my sheets!!!

So to answer your question...
Seeing as how all those things happened to me in one day and I was able to consciously make the connection and be more powerful than ever before in my awareness of it all...
something is definitely coming as far as human evolution I can feel and experience it while being aware

Ever had a "dream" where there is a  narrator?
Like a movie that you are the main character
the narrator
The observer/audience
all at the same time
watching like a thousand different shows?

Thats what happened to me last night!!!

Of course it might have had something to do with the (what I think looked like) full moon!!
Me being a water sign (Scorpio)
psychic powers or water is deeply affected by the moon.

hopefully tonite...

I feel like a child again when I would dream like this every single night

It's cool.  I enjoy reading about your experiences.  I used to dream about the future regularly when I was 15-21.  I also used to "sleep" through chemistry which ticked off the teacher at first because he could ask me a question...and I could "wake-up" to correctly answer the question with no hesitation.

The other night I had a dream that my little girl fell out of the bed head first and was on the floor crying.  I woke up and was going to ignore it, but then I said with all the "co-incidences" lately I better go check.  She was laying on the edge of the bed and about to roll out onto her head, just as I got to her...crazy.

 BTW, do you take any classes from a Mr. or Dr. Perry at NOVA?

some of the stuff that sci-fi shows actually does happen. like in shows like heroes some of the powers on the show,  people do possess like empath or telepathy. Sci-fi has a history of going hand in hand with reality. think of people like jules verne, etc. how do these sci-fi authors come up with this stuff. I always think about that.

and to answer your question... how often is the truth laid right in front of our faces. so maybe its not about getting us accustomed to something b4 it happens, maybes its one of those F it moments, like nobody will believe its true anyway. lets make money off it.

I've read similar things and believe that their are people who have what are currently considered super-human abilities.  In the movie, race to witch mountain the alien girl was controlling things with her mind and explaining how where she was from people had hundreds of abilities...when the American taxi driver (played by the Dwyane "The Rock" Johnson) looked shocked, she said  (paraphrasing) you could do this to if you learned how to use the rest of your brain.

It is interesting to me how some sci-fi writers and some scientists get ideas to do things that no one else yet has even close to imagined. I do believe that Leonardo DiVinci, Nicola Tesla, Jules Verne and others were able to tap into an unseen realm for these insights.

I can see how they could think F it, lets make money off this...they have been testing the waters with increasing boldness over the years and the masses are still asleep.

I think that your absolutely right!!!

I know for a fact that Benjamin Banneker and George Washington Carver both tapped into that aspect of themselves as well...
along with Frederick Douglass

In fact I believe that they were all self taught!!!

but then the television programs are projected on or geared towards a certain people and a certain culture!!!
So where one culture may have evolved to a certain point in their understanding another may have totally forsaken that aspect of their existence!

For example three movies come to mind

The Matric I am Legend and Watchmen

All very telling and all very specific as to which audience they are trying to reach and maybe dumb down maybe wake up or maybe just twist and pervert.

So true. Scientist still dont know what we use the rest of our brains for. So who knows!

I was watching this program (prob tlc or discovery) This woman fell from a mountain top and broke all the bones in her body. She laid there for a few hours and never was in pain, it was not until help came that finally the pain kicked in. I think the brain shut off alll her pain, bc of the extreme injuries she suffered. Or even things like astral projection. I am sure if we knew what we could do and use the brain to the max, it would be kind of frightening/ at the same time awesome.
