Dreamed of being attacked by cats.

I just had a quick dream that I was being attacked by a bunch of cats. It really doesn't make much sense now, but I'll put it out there and see if anyone has any insights. I was only sleep for about 30 minutes, so I don't know if this can be classified as REM sleep of whatever.

Part 1:
It started out with me and a few friends, both male and females hanging out around a pool. It was one particular female I wanted to talk to, but it looked like she was occupied, so I stated talking to her friend, but soon the female I originally was interested in became available, so I left the woman I was with to pursue her, but as soon as I go close, she brushed me off.

Part 2:
I'm at work at some type of stadium during an event, don't know what my job was, but just had the feeling of being at work. I see a guy I went to middle school with a few seats away and I say what's up. He signals for me to come down so I do so, but when I get there, he's tripping talking about how I owe him some money. I say whatever and we start fighting. Security breaks it up and takes him away, but my supervisor or employer, who is a white lady and strangely looks like a school teacher, says that we have to have a meeting at her office.

Part 3:
We get back to her office, which is a classroom with a bunch of small children. I have a distinct feeling of rebellion and not liking this lady the whole time. She tells me to sit and the only place to sit is in one of the kids tables and chairs, so I do. She comes from around the desk and instructs one of the kids to let the cats out to play. That's when all hell breaks loose. When she sits on the other side of me, one of the cats comes and jumps on me. It doesn't start attacking me yet, just stands on my chest in a very aggressive posture. The lady is looking at the situation like that's strange, but does nothing. That cat gets down and then another cat jumps up and starts swinging at me. I'm trying to get it down without hurting it while the lady tells the cat by name to get down. Another cat jumps on me and starts scratching the shit out of me. The lady is shocked and tries to get it off me, but it won't budge. So I get up and throw it off me, and all the other cats are on the attack as well. So I run out of the class while they chase. It's like I was running through a maze of classrooms until I got rid of them all. As I enter the last class room and am about to close the door, the cat that first scratched me is still following and gets caught in between the door while I'm closing it. It was helpless and I though about slamming the door on it, but I just pushed it back on the other side and closed the door.

Not quick at all. Average. Most dreams last between 5-20 minute.

Did you start talking to her friend as an option 2? You may miss a good catch, bc you are preoccupied with someone you are interested in, but really is not into you. Is this someone that you know in waking life? This dream could possibly be showing your insecurities about her. Maybe this dream is portraying what you think could happen if you try to approach her.

Part 2:

you have a habit of getting away with things. In this dream you both are fighting, but security takes your old class mate away.. Seems like in the dream you wanted to have a good convo with the guy, but got annoyed when he brought up the money. This could mean that  you are kind of flippant when it comes to people calling you out for things you have done in the past. Like it annoyed you that he brought something up from such a long time ago, when you only wanted to make convo. A school teacher is a position of authority, but also someone who guides you through life and your education. Maybe this could represent that lessons you need to learn when it comes to who you are.

Once you are put into this classroom setting you get this rebellion, possibly not liking the feeling of being a grown man and being amidst a bunch of lil kids. This teacher is kinda of showing her authority by having you below her by having you sit in those little tables. maybe this could either mean you need to be more humble or it could mean some people treat you like a little kid/or someone with lack of experience. Cats have a bad rep, I dont know if its because they are feminine in nature. I like cats, I think they are mystical and independent. how many animals can live in a home and you would never know? I think in this dream, the cats are negative. A cat attacking you is not a good sign. There are people in your life that do not have your best interests in mind. Even though you have these 'negative' people around you, you still are kind(you gently tried to remove cat) This teacher is not a negative person in this dream, I say this because she wanted the cats to get off you, by name and by force. The cats chasing you could imply that it will be a 'race' to get rid of what ever enemies are around you. You will succeed, but there is someone in your life that will always be lurking around (that original cat was the only one to make it through) As much as you want to get rid of this person in your life, you love them and dont want to harm them (you decide to close the door and push the cat out) I think just like in your dream its time to move on and start a new chapter (you closed the door) just make sure you arent closing your self in to avoid confrontation, and you are more like leaving and moving on to a new journey.

I appreciate the input Knix. Your comments about part 3 really connected. I definitely have a problem with authority, humility, and sometimes feelings of inferiority. And I do often have speculations about some people in my life. So I'll definitely think on this.
