I came  close to that. I sometimes have bad dreams that I know it's a dream and try hard as hell to wake up and when I wake I can't move. Scary as HELL!

It used to happen all the time especially if I was extremely tired but still had to get up for work I would dream I woke up and started my day, alarm clock, shower and everything.

I used to have false awakenings as a teen when I was really tired.  When I was a pregnant/ a new mom, I started experiencing them again, but it was more specific to when nature was calling.  I would dream I was in the bathroom and... thankfully I usually "woke-up again" in just enough time to ACTUALLY get the REAL bathroom.

I came  close to that. I sometimes have bad dreams that I know it's a dream and try hard as hell to wake up and when I wake I can't move. Scary as HELL!

I also remember falling asleep watching TV and then I woke up an tried to move...and could not move anything!  I could see everything, but don't think I could hear and definitely could not talk.  It took me 10 minutes to get up out of the chair!  It was scary, but later I learned that it was likely that I had not fully returned to my body yet.

^^^ yep

when you are sleeping you are paralyzed. you dont know this bc you are 'sleeping' and not awake. But sometimes when an individual is still 'awake' while falling asleep instead of dozing off; they are able to become aware they are paralyzed. You get the feeling you can move. i think our body does this to prevent ourselves from acting out what occurs in our dreams.

instead of being scared of this use it to you advantage, from sleep paralysis you can enter lucid dreaming and do so much more.

Lady Ashayt, I remember having dreams similiar to yours where you couldn't get out of the chair but I'd be laying in bed and it would feel as if something is holding me down and covering my mouth as I can't move, can't speak or open my eyes.  The only sound I could make was a grunting sound.  I eventually came out of it.  That happened to me several times and it occasionally happens to my husband.  I'd have to talk to him and he eventually comes out of it.  Now that is some scary stuff!

Heavenzsun, I've had some crazy stuff happen to me at a particular house that I used to live in relating to some dark entities.  So whenever I encounter an experience that I have no control of, it makes me uncomfortable.

Yea... I have had some bad experiences as well but when I let go of fear I stopped having them!
I recomend getting a dream catcher. It really does work!!!
Fear is practically a magnet for unpleasurable experiences just like hate. Undesirable entities will come like flies to honey.

But there are some amazing things you can do!!!
No reasn fear shoud stop u.
Let go of all that.

Try peppermint and chammomie tea!!!
It will relax you ( chamomile) a d sharpen the mind ease the digestive system ( pepermint)

I will try those suggestions.  I really want to start consciously astral traveling, but have to let go of the fear first. Maybe telling myself before I relax that I am going to visit a specific person will help?

Slightly off topic, but last night, as I closed my eyes to go to sleep, I felt like I was able to look around my room with my physical eyes closed.  A video on youtube was suggesting that when that occurs, your third eye is opening. Has that ever happened to you Heavenzsun?

Yes!!!
So it looks like you are astrally projecting anyway!!!
Might as well enjoy it!!!

But really try the peppermint and chamomile tea.
It also helps to relax you. You don't have to do it alone and play mind games with yourself.
Just make sure that when you do drink the tea... before bed of course... you don't have heavy, or too much food in your stomach.
When you are looking around your room though... do you notice that some things are a little different?? ?
Or is everything the same.

Things are slightly different in the room when this happens. Ok so I'm already projecting. Yeah I definitely want to remember and enjoy it.
