Question about Lunar Eclipse tonight & astrology

To my understanding, there is a (full moon) lunar eclipse tonight. Which is not really strange for me personally considering that I had this CRAZY CRAZY disturbing dream this morning (I mean people getting shot & murdered and crazy stuff I have never dreamed about) and I have been having a few "very different" dreams for the past couple of nights.

Sometimes certain life events lead up to the eclipse and it marks changes (beginning or ending, depending on the type of eclipse I believe). I have also read that full moon eclipses are pretty strong.

I keep reading that a person has to know what house is being affected by the lunar eclipse to understand what area it impacts most in their life. I am curious, how do you figure out what house that is based on your chart? Also is this referring to the planets within each house, or the outer degree labeling of each house (i.e Sag Ascendant is 6 degrees, 32' 11 which I am still trying to figure out) or does it refer planet? Not sure if that makes sense but I am looking at my chart and trying to explain clear as possible.
I have an idea of the changes in my own mind and revelation of other issues, just like to see how it astrologically matches up.

Thanks for the feedback! Yep lots of changes possibly this month for me. There is some resistance there that I am aware of while deciding to do what is best for ME.  Wow, good thing I dont have hubby and children to worry about right now while doing all of this LOL
