Ladies, Is This True About Sexual Fantasies?

I was watching Oprah about a week or so ago.  The topic was sex from the woman's perspective.

The topic of sexual fantasies came up.  The guest on the show (who was a sex therapist) stated that 70% of women have fantasies about being dominated.  Dominated was defined as "being overpowered," and not beaten or abused.

This was suprising to me.  I never heard of this before.

Queens/Sistahs/Women of Dherbs forums......Is there any truth to this?  Do any of you fantasies about this?  If so, why?

One guest on the show gave her reaosning.  She said she wants to be dominated because at her job she has to be agressive and assertive, while at home she "wears the pants" in her marriage.  So she never has the chance to be (in her words) submissive.

I took this to mean that she is seeking to opportunity to be feminine.

I hear this a lot from 'subs' in the bdsm world. This is not the case for me though. I'm naturally submissive, and that could be the very reason I like it. So in my case, it's not trying to compensate in one area for a lack in another. If women are submissive by nature though (feminine quality), that would explain the desire to be dommed. I can't figure out why I like it so much though. Other than the sheer thrill of it. Someone mentioned something about animalistic desires (LOL) before. Maybe it appeals to the basest of the base of my physical desires.

And I'm just sitting there playing ghandi and king while they hold me down (bout three of these fyne yet annoying females) the rest of em were just in the background cheering their freinds on
So I just start laughing and I'm just like... Yes sir
Then all three of em start hitting me
LOL they just didn't get it
The whole purpose was actually to get me to fight back

Well I just pushed em off of me in the end
They were tired by then so I said
Alright that's enough ladies
They gave way and I was like yea that's what I thought they were probably to tired
They asked me why I didn't fight back I said I have more respect for feminine females who come at me like women than y'all masculine females that come at me like men

 I guess they finally got it because they started huggin all up on me and talking all soft and sweet and saying sorry and asking me do I love them ( as a freind of course lol) yea right

I was just like whatever and walked away battle worn and feeling like a conquering magician

They never acted like men around me again
They only tried to seduce me which worked most of the time
Everyone ended up happy
I think women act like men when they feel they need to
They prefer in general to behave as women
I gave them that window of oppurtunity and they took it

Women that use the bedroom as a fantasy chamber really yearn that window of opportunity to live out that fantasy in their day to day lives
Women are naturally submissive because they can get people to do what they want without forcing it through tools like seduction and others

I don't think you can call it putting my foot down I pretty much just made them feel awkward and uncomfortable
the energy was off you know

They like comfort and security

they got it by falling into their natural state of being feminine
they still got what the wanted (a response)
but I didn't give it to them until they acted feminine


that's the key for me I don't respect masculine females
only feminine ones

both or all sexes like to submit just in their own way.

domination relates to power, right? so maybe many women want to receive or feel that power via that fantasy? because if you're fantasizing about something then it's not happening in your everyday reality, right? fantasizing allows you to control another reality that's taking place within your mind. so, even if the woman is fantasizing about being overpowered, there is a level of control present which allows her to enjoy her sexual visions. not sure if this has even answered the why of it all but i wanted to share.

I thought that percentage was high myself.  That's what motivated me to put it out there and ask.  What I keep thinking is that if this is indeed true, then what is it saying about the state and well being of women?

What does it reveal? I didn't think the number was too high....I guess that's just my overactive mind. I fantasize about so many different things, I would probably fall into all the categories!
