I remember reading this book in middle school. I was recently reminded of it, and I thought damn that should have been a college book. I mean, it's easy reading, but there's so much going on in the background.

This was a bomb ass book! Did you end up getting it? I remember reading that in like the 6th grade, it was a very advanced book, I think I'm going to read it again. It kind of reminde me of the movie, "The Village".

Okay, I just got home after reading this post earlier and I got The Giver. I also just got The Alchemist as well. Its storming outside and Im getting ready to curl up with one of them, I think Im gonna read The Alchemist first.
