Can a soul exist on multiple dimensions  at one time. Is the soul a linear concept? Can i exist here on earth and a part of my soul exist on another dimension.

Modification* let me explain this better;    i was reading an article from a medium james van something or other lol and he was saying how he was in a graveyard and saw two young children standing by a grave when he walked over to the grave the children dissapeared and he saw it was the grave of twins....he went on telling the person whom was interveiwing him that the twins had already been reincarnated...how did he see them by the grave if they have alredy been reincarnated....i guess i worded the posting wrong... i meant can a soul exist on earth as a ghost and a human...its that concept that im having a hard time grasping.

I would say we exist multidimensionally, I have met some of my different selves in dreams and meditations. From my studies of the soul though, I wouldn't say it really incarnates, but thats a whole different concept.

Some people can communicate with the shell or consciousness an ancestor, etc left behind that either transcended to a higher realm, or reincarnated, but the soul is the timeless, dimensionless aspect, sort of like the new age concept of the higher self. Many mythos say the soul is a dimension within itself. The higher self can exist on as many levels as it wants to, its like a regular human who has different aspects of themselves just on the earth level: physical body, astral body, and on and on.
