Hello all, this morning I had a dream that was pretty disturbing and here it goes.  I got up this morning around 2:30am est to go to the bathroom and I normally get up at 5:00am est.  So after leaving the bathroom thinking I have a little over a couple hours left of sleep remaining so let me get to it.  I laid back down and off to sleep I went.  Then the dream began my wife I was standing in front of a gallery type area which could be considered a cat walk.  We both looked down in the gallery and behold it was the biggest alligator I had ever seen.  I moved back away from looking at the alligator because I did not want any part of it but my wife was still looking down in amazement and I notice now she was hanging over the cat walk too far.  As soon as I tried to warn her to move back she fell in. Sad  I yelled for help and looked down in the gallery and saw the alligator move and when the head of the alligator came up my wife was in it then I woke up. Embarrassed  Help me out....

maybe in real life you are warning you wife about a situation or problem that she will not listen to your advice? the result of this is that out of her curosity she is going to get swept away by the problem? curosity killed the cat? this is very interesting because as a woman i am stubborn at times when my husband warns me about situations where i end up not taking his advice and the problem blows up in my face.

In my experience dreaming of an alligator is not a good sign. Its an animal that represents deceit, caution, etc. The alligator could represent some hidden feelings you have of your wife. Like Alli said, there may be something that you have wanted to tell your wife, because she skates so close to 'danger', but you dont(in your dream you were about to tell your wife to move). the alligator could also mean you need to be more assertive in telling her what you really want to say. She is more daring and back up at risk.

Hmmmmm Knix20 very interesting.  You just made me think of something when you mention backing up at risk.  Me I am a risk taker and she is not.  What was the result of your experience if you do not care if I ask?

My mom had died when I was 14, so I had alot of responsiblity in my family (4sisters). So I always felt pressure to stay home and take of things and I would turn down invitations to parties and stuff. Then my grandma came to live with us and it was just very demanding. So when it came to apply for college, I had a dream one night that I was running down my street and my grandma and sisters were in a cart of some sort chasing me and an alligator was biting my behind. I then had other dreams of alligators or snakes biting me. I took that dream to mean that I was letting my family run my life and that i need to move on. So I ended up applying for one school in atlanta out of state (im from ny) and it was the best decision ever. I guess the alligator/snakes biting me represented the pressures and feelings of resentment for my family for always being on my back. like literally they were chasing me and it was biting me in the butt. the dream was an attention getting for me that i need to be my own person.
