Yeh, Camara is top notch.  He hands them their ass in a kind of loving and respectful way.  And the picture in the book of the billboard with Jesus and the overt threat to non-Christians is classic.  I used to drive by that billboard almost every night.  Incredible that that crap would even be allowed.

i remember my pops laughing while telling me about my old church's (former?) Pastor getting caught up over some fraudulent/illegal economics a while back

there was a line from a rapper named Mac (No Limit) that this reminded me of

one would think we would be more empowered having a church on pretty much every corner?  Undecided

some are for real with it, far as being genuinely kind-hearted people, while
others are basically just Bible-quoting PIMPS.
