Hotep/Peace,

Easter

Easter is always on Sunday because Easter is the time of Sun worship.? The time when the Sun brings forth new life throughout the earth as it ascends to sit at the right hand of God/the cosmic right side/the East.? This holiday of bunnies and bonnets is total mythology/metaphysical, which has found its way through world cultures announcing the rebirth of all life that had been entombed in the earth.? All life that had lain still in the darkness of the winter rising again in resurrection.?

The mythology has taken the form of religious rites throughout the world celebrating this or that Savior. In the west, of course, the most prominently celebrated Savior is Jesus;? the crucifixion, entombment and resurrection is of Jesus.? The foundation of western culture, which includes mythology, is ancient Greece (of course Greece was highly influenced by the knowledge of our ancestors, predominently, of the Nile Valley).? As a result, myths were formulated by the classic Greek mythologists through the "New Testament", namely, the mythological Jesus.? When considering the Greek influence, on the New Testament, and the facts that Jesus is a personification of the Sun and that Easter deals with the adoration of the Sun, the Greek spelling of Jesus makes sense.? As in Hebrew and Roman, Greek letters have numerical values, and the values in Greek mythology have meanings.? In Greek, Jesus is spelled I H S O U S.? The following is the numerical values of the Greek letters that spell Jesus and their pronunciations are in parenthesis:

I (iota) = 10
H (eta) = 8
S (sigma) = 200
0 (omnicron) = 70
U (upsilon) = 400
S (sigma) = 200

Thus, the sum of those digits/Jesus in Greek is 888.? In Greek mythology the number 888 represents the mythical Sun.?

Derivations of the term Easter

Easter is derived from the Middle English word 'ESTER', which in turn is derived from the Old English "EASTRE", an ancient mythological goddess.? This ancient goddess Eastre, also known as Ishtar, was a symbol of fertility/sex.? In fact, on the earliest Easter Sundays women would come to the temple with only their Easter bonnets on, i.e. it was a celebration of sex.? The ancient word EASTRE is connected to the word ESTRUS, and when you see the development of the word, you will get another understanding of why bunnies are so much a part of easter.

ESTRUS (the American Heritage Dictionary): Derived from the Latin "oestrus", (one meaning of which is "frenzy"), and the Greek "oistros", The periodic state of sexual excitement in the female of most mammals, excluding humans, that immediately precedes ovulation and during which the female is most receptive to mating; heat.

Now, what animal is more famous for being in heat than the rabbit?? Thus, the "Easter" Bunny is merely a symbol of fertility/sex.? The term Easter also has a connection to Ostara.? In ancient Anglo-Saxon myth, Ostara is associated with the spring, and is considered to be a fertility goddess.? ?She was labeled the friend of all children; and to amuse them, she changed her pet bird into a rabbit.? This rabbit brought forth brightly colored eggs, which the goddess gave to the children as gifts.? From her name and rites the festival of Easter is derived.

In the ancient Greek and Roman cultures the eastre was called Ishtar.? One of the stories of Ishtar or Eastre that is interesting is that she would have to go down into the earth to resurrect her husband Tammuz from a gray colored egg.? Tammuz was the farm god and so we see the connection, not only with sex, but with rebirth of vegetation.? Tammuz resurrecting out of the tomb of the earth, and Jesus resurrecting out of the tomb of the earth, are the same thing.? The worship of Tammuz is described in the Bible, as follows:

Ezekiel 8:14-16,? "Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the Lord's house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.

Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these.

And he brought me into the inner court of the Lord's house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the Lord, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east."

Contained within that scripture is the origin of Lent which is the women weeping for Tammuz.? That period was called count 40 and it went on for forty days as does the present Lent.? In addition you will see the origin of the sunrise service which is carried out by many churches today, even though their scriptures refer to them as abominations.? Due to ignorance and manipulation of these ancient myths/celebrations, western religions regard these references to Tammuz and Ishtar (derived from Ausar/Osiris & Auset/Isis) etc., as pagan gods and abominations.? Religious sheeple do not understand the metaphysics of these stories and the nature of their personalities.? These are not pagan Gods, they are personified lessons of nature.? Lessons which tell of the inherent power of life, death, and resurrection that exists in all of us; and that exists in all of the universe and all of nature.?

That which was dead in the ground of the Earth is now called forth in the spring of new life, via the Sun penetrating the womb of the Earth. Inside of us, there is a life force that must go down and come up, in the same way that Ishtar had to go down to bring up Tammuz.? We must (whether we like it or not, for it's a universal Law) go down to the depths (internally and externally) in order to bring forth new life, which involves sacrifice.? The premise is that Jesus must die so that you may have eternal life.? The Catholic church has twisted this into a literal story of God in the universe refusing to forgive people unless He is presented with a human sacrifice.? He must see blood flow and he must have physical death or he cannot forgive.? This is a total misunderstanding of the nature of sacrifice.? This sacrifice, is that one must be willing to give up the thoughts and ways that come from the carnal/lower self and this world, so that one can then flow in the guidance that comes from the inner lofty self.? Your inner lofty self is actually the electro magnetic life force is called Jesus ( mythical Sun).? It is the force that operates out of the SOLAR plexus, which is the place of the internal Sun.? Why do I say that an aspect of the mythical Jesus is the inner life force/Sun that operates within each of us? Answer: John 14:20, "At that day you shall know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you."? ?It's not a coincidence that both words, Calvary and Golgotha, where Jesus was crucified, means skull?? After the crucifixion, Jesus (internal Sun/inner life force) descends into the solar plexus, then resurrects ascending through 7 chakras to return at the right side or right hemisphere of the brain/Mind/.? Mark 16:19, "So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God."
As it above/externally, so it is below/internally.? When the external Sun begins its rise (on Dec. 25th), it ascends for 7 months, before it completes its journey of celestial right ascension, on June 21st, the longest day of the year.? From March 21 to April 19 the external sun resides in the sign of Aries the Ram.? The sun then takes away the darkness of the winter.? Jesus becomes the Lamb (newborn Ram) of God that takes away the sins of the world.

Again, Tammuz, Eastre, Ishtar, Jesus etc., and their stories, are characters/happenings that exist/occur with/in all of life, and if one is to live life properly (abiding by the Laws of nature) it is necessary to grasp what these stories are telling us, and follow through with the wise directions they provide.

Hotep/Peace.

The world we are experiencing today is the result of our collective consciousness, and if we want a new world, each of us must start taking responsibility for helping create it. Vision is not enough, it must be combined with venture. It is not enough to stare up the steps, we must step up the stairs
