We have been bamboozled again by the media.  so in other words there was no reason to kill these pirates.  no one in their custody has been harmed.  whatever ransom the companies pay is a drop in the bucket compared to what they steal in illegal fishing, and what they save in illegal dumping of toxic wastes.  incredible.

You're not surprised at being hoodwinked are you, aran504? LOL We NEVER get the truth, but always the 'official story'.  Roll Eyes

The only hostage I've heard about being killed was shot by the french government trying to retain one of the hijacked boats. It was funny reading the article b/c it was titled 'Hostage Dies...blah blah blah'. Dies?? Had a pirate shot him, it would have been 'Hostage Brutally Murdered'.

I'm wondering where they're going with this though. The dumping, fishing, hijacking, and piracy fiasco is not new, so why are we being bombarded with it now? Simple distraction? Upcoming war? More laws?

I just had a talk with my mom after giving her an article on Somalia and said that what was happening there was sad that because we have the Obama Administration, they are doing whatever they can to fix the problem and I was like  Sad It looks like now until now to the day Obama leaves, people will continue to assume that because we got a blackface in office and Obama's father is from Africa that Obama has Africa's best interests at hand.
