Any..advice. I am working hard to get healed but not sure if I am working this detox correctly. This is sooo important to me and any help or advice from a person that has been healed would be helpful.

What's been going on that you think your detox isn't working properly?  It seems as if your holding on to something and won't release it from what I'm reading.  Are you worried about a test?

Smiley  Hi!  I'm Laura from Indiana and I am on day 15 of the FBD, I am starting a full plan to heal from a stroke.  I decided to do the detox 1st to get my body in the best condition for healing.  However, I also had a few other typical health issues.  Acid reflux/heartburn, acne breakouts and psoriasis.  My skin was a mess, but only after 1 week....it was almost totally cleared up!  I've been eating strictly RAW as they say, and only distilled water.  Now I have been eating a little bit with each dose of pills.  If not fresh fruit, raw/organic seeds or snacks (I ordered from oneluckyduck.com), I have been eating banana chips/organic.  I bought all natural body wash/lotions/face products, toothpaste, deoderant.  BurtsBees or 100percentpure.com have wonderful things!  Yea, it's more money however what I'm saving myself in cases of beer & many McDonalds lunches more than pays the difference:)  I've had NO bad side effects of any kind except headaches.  Then I drink the headache tea which helps ALOT!  I use raw agave nectar as a sweetner.  I have a cup of herbal tea morning & one cup at night.  I also have hair/skin/nails tea and the eye-aid tea.  I try daily to rotate those then use the headache one if I need it.  Due to my stroke my nerves to my right eyelid were damaged & my eye has been closed for 6 years.  But the last few weeks during detox I'm starting to get little twinges once in awhile!!!!!  So something is working!  I dont think it is just a coincidence Undecided.  I've also lost weight, dont know how much yet but I'm guessing atleast 10.  Hopefully more like 20.  We'll see.  Sunday is my last day on the detox then I plan to stay atleast 50% or more raw, the rest in organic cooking & food products.  Then I will start the herbs for my stroke recovery plan, I cant wait!!  So far so good!  Follow the food plan & you'll be ok.  Also, I'm usually not up at 7, so I've been sticking to the time schedule, just starting each day a little later.  Good luck, just stick by raw & organic mainly fruits/veggies.  Keep us posted of your progress.  What are you trying to heal of may I ask?

I do think the detox is working. What is getting to me is 1) AM I DOING A GOOD REGIME FOR HEALING?  I am juicing more and taking more baths. take the pills along with the AV tea or Immune tea. getting as much fruit as I can. I get full really fast so I can only eat as much as I can. So I guess what I am trying to figure out is if this is a good PATH for complete healing. I understand everybody is different. But I could be leaving something out that could important to successfully healing myself. That is why I am trying to reach out to those who have success in this for coaching. 2) Worry about a test ..yes. I wish there was a way for me to test myself to see if my alkaline level is where it needs to be. I don't think I am holding on to anything instead trying to realease it. I also read the mental health manual which helps. But nothing will feel better than a clean bill of health.

Here's a link to a website that sells PH level test strips. I'm sure there are others out there too.

Yes, it is my 1st round of detox.  I did a liquid herbal detox last summer....it was AWFUL.  I could barely gag it down, but these pills are so much better!  My skin did clear up on that one also.  It is kinda costly with all the organic fresh fruit.  I only eat like 1 fruit for breakfast, lunch & dinner so I dont think I have to spend as much as you.  I usually pick oranges & bananas.  In between I have raw nuts or banana chips when taking the pills.  The banana chips aren't raw, but just a few a day are keeping me satisfied & they are organic also.  I'm drinking the distilled water which is only a little over a dollar a jug of it.  I only have 3 days left after today is done!  Then I start on my stroke recovery herbs, I'm so excited!!  It went be really fast, before you know it your done:)  But next it's a whole new diet & lifestyle.  I've been looking up vegan recipes & they sound so good.  Everything sounds wonderful after eating nothing but fruit & veggies & water.  I'm not craving the fast foods anymore or the booz.  Of course I'd like to sit down with a cold beer outside on a nice warm day BUT it isn't a huge craving anymore.  I even sit with family & watch them eat fast food, I have my water/pills/fruit:)  It all looks & smells wonderful but I can handle it.  Ok....I forgot I did cheat a teensy.  I bought non dairy Rice Dream mint chocolatechip ice cream, I bought it for after the detox.  Every now & then I've had a few small bites out of the container.  Not a full bowl or half the carton, just a few bites & I'm satisfied.  That is something I'd have never ate before, but now it tastes awesome!  After doing the detox I think it will be so easy to transition into an all healthy diet.  How's your detox going?  What day are you on now?

I'm getting healed from something, I've lost 11lbs of waste.  The local grocery store just does not have much of anything for folks on raw food.  I wish I had a wholefoods nearby. I am noticing my face clearing up of blemishes, my sleep at night is so deep and restful but then again I am only on day 6.  My food/sugar cravings have vanished.  During my monthly if I didn't have a piece of candy someone getting on my nerves would get knocked clean out.  So something is definitely happening in my body.  Hang in there.  How is it possible to have waste material lodged in your body for weeks, months, years and not get deathly ill?  Amazing!

How's it coming along Lori?  The raw food diet?  I had to tell you....I've been googling raw & vegan recipes, I came up with a raw food site in which it had an avocado/guacamole recipe.  I made it yesterday & it is wonderful:)  And it's ALL RAW so it should be ok.  (if you like guac) 2 ripe organic avocodo's smashed, add 3 sm tomatos, 3tbsp onion, 1/2 jalopeno pepper, 3 cloves garlic.  Use all fresh organic & chop as fine as possible for the garlic/onion/pepper.  And 1/4c cilantro with 2tsp organic lime juice, I just got a little container of the organic lime juice & not fresh limes.  Mix it all up & it is SO tasty!!  Roll it up in a romaine lettuce leaf.  It makes a yummy alternative to a salad, something different to eat on the detox too!  I've stuck to fruit, but I'm trying to do a veggie here & there for a different option.  This is so good....oh & you gotta season with sea salt & pepper, that finishes it off perfectly.  I just took my last set of pills for dinner & I just ate a few bites of the mixture straight out of the bowl.  It will help make things easier if you need a change!  Thought this might be helpful for you if you want variety....and I have a health food grocery store not far & all the food wasn't to bad in cost.  It will make a decent size bowl that should last you a few days, so cost isn't to bad:)  My detox is done after tomorrow, I bought whole wheat organic pitas, so as of Monday I can put a spoonful of the mix in a pita & it will be so tasty, I want to use it all up!  Or on organic blue tortilla chips:)  AWESOME!!!

Re: learide. It is going. I am almost finished the AV. I finished this week. But since I am not going to get retested I am going to have to continue to eat this way. I plan to start again on June 7th. The FBD,AV,& EGC. Then I will see how I feel after that. The Herblist says to see how your body feels. Overall I feel good. But I did have a mild outbreak. So I figure there are this some bugs around. Plus I have brown lines on my thumb which he said it from circulation. So I will wait until I have no more outbreaks and these lines go bye bye. I did see and made the recipe. It was good. I am not sure if I was just that hungry but it was good. I need to get a variety going. I need a food processor but due to being broke I am unable to purchase one. I went to whole foods and had a wheat grass shoot. WOW!!. But I need the chlorophyll.  So I am going to do that three times a week. Other than that I keep praying and keep telling myself that it will be over soon.

I know what you mean about just being that hungry:)  B4 FBD, I'd have NEVER made let alone liked something like raw avocado dip unless it was in a mexi restaurant on a ton of fried chips with salsa & margaritas.  But now, after nothing but fruit & salads.....that was a major treat!!  This FBD raw diet is making it so easy for me to finally change my diet & foods.  Everything sounds awesome even if it's healthy!!  My healthy groceries are just waiting on me to incorporate them into my new lifestyle!  If you buy organics, the sales really aren't to bad!  I go to Kroger, they always have different sales every time i'm in there.  The produce isn't to much more costly.  I notice the big costs are the frozen meals & snacks seem to be much higher but you can buy those extra whenever, not things we HAVE to purchase.  Casseroles will be awesome!!  The recipes I have are big pasta & rice casseroles, which will make alot of leftovers & lunches/dinners....so they'll stretch costwise.  This is a whole new journey for us but will pay off in the long run!!  Glad your doing well so far, it goes by fast & will be over before you know it, trust me!  I get to weigh finally in the morning, I cant wait.  Then for lunch I get to put my avocado dip in an organic whole wheat pita:)  YUM!!  So I'm all excited for tomorrow, seems like such a reward & it's still very healthy.  Who'd have thought this out of me?Huh  I'm the queen of Budweiser Roll Eyes.  Keep us posted, & the outbreaks....they'll go away!!  Sounds like just a detox reaction which is a great sign that you ARE HEALING!!!!!  How exciting!!

Hi Lori!  I'm backagain!  OMG!!  I got my organic wheat pita & put in the leftover avocado mix, threw in a few organic lettuce peices & YUMMMMMMM....it was so good for my 1st meal post FBD.  You gotta try it that way:)  I'll be making more just to put it in the pitas.  I lost 17, I am finishing up a few pills I had leftover that I screwed up somewhere, but I'm DONE!  And for a snack I had an organic vegan rice crispy treat, it was peanut/carmel & was it ever tasty.  In dherbs diet manual I downloaded, I found a vegan grocery store that delivers: Pangea, they have alot of healthy vegan foods & those rice crispy treats were on there.  I got 1 of each to sample them 1st.  Needless to say....I have gone back already & ordered more to keep around.  I think they're better than the original ones full of no good crap:)  I hope your doing well also, how are the break outs coming along?
