This documentary serves as a reminder of what REAL music was as opposed to the "fast food noise" being served today. It also represented the "grits & cornbread" style of STAX RECORDS that was complimentary to the crossover appeal of MOTOWN.

I'm still wondering what Rufus Thomas was thinking wearing that pink outfit Shocked

One of the best music documentaries ever!  Rufus was rockin' that pink and the crowd loved it.  Rufus was wild anyway!!
