Hi ,I am looking for VEGAN eating places in and around Atlanta, Georgia. I am a new patron of Livin it Live in East Point, Georgia. They have been in business for 4 years. I have gone 3 times in two weeks. The food is excellent.  The Tostado and the house salad are really special. I will get to the other items soon. I remember many years ago a restaurant in San Francisco call Dippy Newvas ,I think Carlos Santana was a partner. That was the some of the best food I ever tasted.
If you have a recommendation, let me know.

Lovin it live! is the best! I remember curtisduncan or someone posting a list of restaurants in ATL, if I find it I will direct you to it.

off the top of my head, everyone hits up soul veg (westend, vegetarian food), across the street was a  vegan restaurant called paas (it may have closed down) umm, theres a  raw food restaurant on mitchell street, I cant remember the name, but it starts with a K (mabe :/)

If I can remember others I will post.

R. Thomas Deluxe Grill, in Midtown.  Although it's not a vegan or even vegetarian restaurant, they have a few vegan items on their menu, some of them raw too.  They're pretty good, and open 24/7.

ATL seems like the place to be. I have always enjoyed my visits to GA and the ATL, but now I see there is much more to visit when I go next time. Thanks for the info.

Thank you to everyone for your suggestions and a special thanks to Mr. Duncan for sending the long list. I plan on trying every restaurant on the list at least twice.

On Friday, I had dinner at the Green Sprout Vegetarian-VEGAN Chinese Restaurant. I tried the Gen. Tso with steam brown rice.
It was very good.

On Saturday, I had lunch at the Harmony Vegetarian-Vegan Restaurant. I had the same as last night but added the curry spring rolls. The food was very good and the spring roll was delectable.

Thats it for now.

P.S Don't forget the Meatout Health Fair in Atlanta on Sunday, March 29, 2009. I am now a volunteer and  Atthala, The volunteer coordinator is looking for some male volunteers.

Do any of these places serve breakfast? Stopping through Atlanta next week & wanted to meet a friend for breakfast. Not sure where to go and be able to eat what's on the menu.

Hi  With Purpose=

Try R.Thomas for a really good breakfast. It is on Peachtree Rd. Just north of the Amtrack Train Station. I recommend the Veggie Sloppy Job.  Relax atmosphere, birds out side, small waterworks,  kinda Berkley hippies.
I think they are closed between 6:00a.m and 7:00 am. only.
