Okay I'm new to meditating.  I've been meditating with my green and pink quartz stones for about 3 days.  I'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly.  So far I've been meditating by lying on my bed on the stones on my heart (4th Chakara) for an hour and each time I feel asleep.  Any suggestions??  Am I doing something wrong??

I've fallen asleep too before while laying down. Although I did lay down with one meditation as directed in "Ask and It Is Given" when I woke up I felt toatally different and very good...as if the situation I was going through had been handled and I was able to let it go fully. Keep in mind that some things are best dealt with while you are sleep so that your ego can get out of the way and let the work take place. So I guess it depends on what works for you. Maybe try sitting up in various positions that I are comfortable if staying awake is your goal.

If you want to learn about true meditation study Osho's works.  When I meditate I sit cross-legged on the floor with my spine erect.
