Dhejuty, what can I do to treat lower back pain? I was helping a friend move a stove and the next morning I couldn't even get out of the bed. Today I went and purchased some white willow bark because I read somewhere that it has helped. The pain is actually located a little past the lower back, any suggestions? Thanks!

Lower back problems, metaphysically denote "bending over backwards to help people" and to the detriment of one's own health. Funny, and you were helping a friend (not that this was not good for you as we are here on Earth to help others, but there's a stipulation).

I would recommend that you go see an accupuncturist and get a good massage and work some heat therapy on your lower back (i.e. hot bath, sea salt, non-aluminum baking soda (optional), essential oil of Eucalyptus and Peppermint). And importantly, GET SOME REST!

Herbs for pain include White and Black Willow Bark, Meadowsweet, Wood Betony, and Balm of Gilead (Poplar).

Overdose on MSM Sulphur too! Great for aches and pain!

Healing be unto you, Beloved!

Yes, Willow Bark is a powerful anodyne (anti-pain) herb. I love Willow Bark and it helped me tremendously over the years with the headaches I used to suffer from and almost all the time. It's really a good and effective herb. Glad it's working for you, Beloved!
