Ive noticed a new trend in drug ads...where instead of the narrator saying see your doctor...they say see your prescriber...

Whats this about?.....Is this a new medical postition?

they're just making sure they cover all options.  some patients see nurse practitioners, etc who can also prescribe (depending on the state, but nearly 90% of states anyway)
and they think patients are stupid and will get confused and think its a hassle to find a "doctor" and not continue seeing their NP
