Economic Crisis

This is unheard of to me.  Now I hear the Chrysler, General Motors, and Ford need to be bailed out.  What The Hell   Does anyone have an idea on where to start to get the crisis solved.  If this is kept up people will start to recollect on the 1930's and The Great Depression.  What our president needs to do I think is take a page out of Mr Franklin Delano Roosevelt's book and try to fix the problem that is plaguing a lot of people everywhere.
