i was speaking with a guy in one of my classes....hes a catholic and believes in intellegent design..but he pointed out something very interesting.


when there is a moon eclipse...the Moon blocks the sun....and even though the moon is thousands and thousands of miles away from the sun....the moons circumfrence and diameter is exactly the same s the sun if viewed from earth...

whats the explanation for this?...too perfect for coincidence

Interesting Indeed.

Another thing that was interesting I "heard" about the sun, was that its surface was not actually hot, but near the temp of the sahara, and also that it had inhabitants or the sun people. I think Delbert Blair has a lecture out on this topic called the Truth About the Sun. Just conjecture!

I do not think it is literally the exact same size as the sun, but from our perspective here on earth, it appears that way.  Ever take a picture and you make it appear as if you are holding a large building. You are no way near the size of the large building, but the angle and perspective allows it to photograph and appear that way. I think the human eye, which can play tricks on us makes it seem the same size becauae of our position here on earth and the shadows casted by the moon/sun. I am no scientist though, so I am no sure, just speculating.
