true indeed..i have family in various brooklyn housing projects...and the cameras and mobile surveillance units are in every projects...I worked in Rahway state prison for months..in security housing...the inmates HATE...the black cos......they spit on them...yell house nigger..steppinfetchit...uncle remus mr bojangles...everything under the sun

I never thought slavery ended over night, it's just common sense. I'm sure the people who owned slaves just didn't start handing out job applications after the war was over, they probably just kept it going as long as they could but until 1945 damn!

slavery is going on today
It has evolved and taken on different names but it is still slavery.

We have employees making hundreds and thousands while employers make  millions and billions.
Proportionately  speaking it was the same back in the day the slave master would make hundreds and thousands while the slaves made 0

Then there was the sharecropping phase

It went on till now

Also we always have a prison system.

I totally agree I constantly refer to myself as a wage slave just to remind myself and others that that is in fact what most of us are. Slavery will always be a part of the human experience as long as there are haves and have nots, like you said it just evolves and takes a different name and shape.

Yeah, I just moved back to newark, nj and it looks like a damn concentration camp with all of these streets blocked off with police baricades and all these confused cops walking around trying to befriend the community and lock them up at the same time - Shits sad, the only way out is mind elevation
