Glendale (San Fernando Valley), CA

what do you like most about it?

City is very conservative, very safe, a small metropolitan area with everything I need and within walking distance, city services are exceptional, reportedly the 4th largest banking center in the U.S., great weather, strategically located (not far from City of Los Angeles), Glendale takes care of itself and its residents.

What do you like least about it?

Sometimes, it can be too much vehicular traffic (especially on Brand Boulevard and Colorado Boulevard), especially after 4 p.m.

If you could relocate where and why?

1. Sedona, Arizona (love the energy there)
2. Northern California (Berkeley area, San Francisco, San Raphael), beautiful scenery, pretty laid back compared to Southern Cal.
3. Malibu (lovely by the beach - a beautiful scenic route and view)

I used to like the party scene(that grew old).. now I like the consciousness... veggie spots, forums, lectures, etc. The restaurants are pretty good as well


What do you like least about it?
It is slower than NY, the traffic in the morning and afternoon makes noo kind of sense.

If you could relocate anywhere and why?
1. Haiti ( that is where my mom, gramma, everyone is from) I want to go back to my homeland and help the countr because it is in a terrible state and it is such a beautiful place
2. somewhere a beautiful beach. I love the ocean and the breeze.
3. back to NY... I love it!!
4. I would mind traveling back in time.. and seeing how history REALLY went down.

What do you like most about it?Its culture is very similar to the Bahamas' - it is where my parents were born and almost everyone is related to each other

What do you like least about it?Too many hotels/developments are taking place which take away from its natural beauty
Very limited health food availability

If you could relocate, where and why?To a country which grows its own food for consumption, has clean fresh air with lots of hills and natural spring water (if this place exists)

What do you like most about it? 
The cultural scene.  The Marta (Atlanta transit system), I always find some interesting people on the train and the bus.  The wise elders, there always seems to be someone lurking on the corner or sitting on a park bench yearning to share his/her wisdom.

What do you like least about it?
There's too much redevelopment/construction going on in the wrong areas (the city is just doing too much it needs to slow down).  There aren't any beaches.

If you could relocate, where and why?
most definitely to another country with a lot of sun, a nice breeze and an abundance of pretty water

Portland - I heard they have a nice transit system, laid back people and it's really pretty

There isn't much I dislike because this is home. I like to travel and go to new places so I get away when I can. This area is expensive so that is what I say I least like.

The city is going through a transformational period. If you look at downtown now compared with 10 years ago, you wouldn't recognize it. There are a lot of opportunities if you're an entrepreneur not scared to make something happen. And for some reason, people from Detroit love being from Detroit.

What do you like least about it?

The crime, services (both government and commercial).

If you could relocate where and why?

1. Somewhere in the Los Angeles metropolitan area because I'm a filmmaker.
2. Somewhere in the Phoenix metropolitan area because its the most well kept city I've ever seen.
