BELOVEDS, September's Horoscope is up on my site:Â
www.ayeshagrice.com Â
The beautiful graphic for Virgo was createdby Angelique Anderson, the angel in my life who created the site and who posts my monthly writings. I feel blessed to have her in my life. And, yes, today I'm doing a whoopee dance, cause Saturn is now in Virgo.Â
After spending a week in New York, going to the Schemitzun with my daughters, and the US OPEN. Both of these events have been added to my schedule for 2008.
I'd like to thank Eagle Woman, Night Eagle and Leslie Cruz for inspiring me to attend the Schemitzun (Green CornFestival) in Foxwoods, Conn. We went for one day, then decided to stay another day...the drum circles, singing, dancing was ahealing and awesome experience. I'm also thankful to Fatima for gifting us with a trip to the US OPEN. We saw Venus Williams, Rafael Nadal, and Asha Rolle...skillfully win their matches. We also realized that there are lots of melinated people playing tennis today...besides the Williams Sisters, James Blake, Donald Young, Asha Rolle and Jo Tsonga, there's alsoScofield Jenkins and Jamea Jackson. I'm back in the mountains, in a quiet and retrospective mood, reading and of course watching tennis on tv.Â
Just finished The Alchemist, a wonderful book that inspires the reader to fulfill his or her mission in this life, and finishing up
Life After Death (Chopra) which gives definite proof of life after death.Â
As I look back on Saturn, I am thankful for all the lessons learned during the transit. We're all learning and growing, but with Saturn, the energy intensifies and the individual is tested on his or her beliefs. One thing that rang true for me during the past two and a half years is that it's not what's happening in your life, but how you react to it that really matters. I am thankful for my children who are always loving
and supportive, for friends (spiritual family) who are also loving and supportive, for the gifts of astrology, music, metaphysics,
healing/meditation, for the ability to swim, hike, canoe/raft, work out, for earth mother and all her splendor, for my teachers, living or deceased. With Saturn in Virgo now, it's time for all of us to get serious about our health and spiritual growth, and to learn to live in the present moment. I could feel the energy of Saturn moving into Virgo when it was two degrees away. All of a sudden I got the energy to thoroughly clean my living space (yay!), to learn how to do text messages and set up my address book, and calendar on the cell phone gifted to me by my daughter.
The Virgo energy has also inspired me to set up lists and rearrange clothes closets (double yay!). Virgo is the first service sign in the Zodiac, Pisces is the second sign of service. Virgo is the practical down to earth doer of good deeds and should bring out the Mother Teresa gene in all of us. Incidentally, Mother Teresa was a Virgo.Â
We are all potential Divine Alchemists, gifted with the ability to turn lead into gold. It is my consistent intention to live my best life and share whatever wisdom I've gained in these 67 years with others as we walk this journey called life.
Love & Light, Ayesha
