Tower Indian Restaurant

You know what I learned here? Dosas are traditionally a South Indian breakfast food. No one in the Triangle does dosas like Tower. They're quite good. But if you're looking for something else, there's still plenty on the buffet to work your taste buds just right. The sambar and Idli both get high marks (and are also traditional South Indian breakfasts...so I think I see a pattern developing).

They have tons of different chutney, which my wife says is proof that Indians make condiments an art form.

As for the tea, the chai masala is the best way to go. The trick to getting it to cool down in those metal cups, which I suppose are the traditional way to serve it there, is to take long pours from one container to the other until it's a good non-scalding temperature. I have this method from someone who knows...and who says it's hilarious to watch people try to do this on trains.
