Dherbs.com Animal-Based DietWebsite Categories:
You've probably just completed the Full Body Detox or one of our other numerous 10-day or 2-day cleanses (i.e. Total Woman Cleanse, Weight Release Cleanse and Regimen, Pancreas Cleanse and Regimen, 10-Day Supreme Colon Cleanser, etc.) The following information is given solely to help individuals to eat healthier while on a animal-based or carnivorous diet. Dherbs.com does not promote or advocate an animal-based diet but Dherbs.com does recognize the fact that people have to grow and evolve at their own pace and people also have to start where they are and for many people that may be an animal-based diet. Dherbs.com had you to abstain from eating meat and dairy products for a host of reasons during your cleanse, and some of the reasons are as follows: Breakdowns into harmful uric acid Contains unhealthy fat ![]() Contains parasites and worms that enter your body Causes the production of unhealthy mucus Is difficult for the stomach to digest Impairs peristalsis (bowel movement) Contains too many harmful chemicals (i.e. preservatives) Causes various cancers Lowers the body's pH level (makes the body more acidic than alkaline) Contains synthetic and harmful hormones (injected into the animals) Contains harmful steroids (injected into the animals) Contains radiation due to being irradiated Raises unhealthy cholesterol levels in the body Contains unhealthy chemical man-made salts Causes arterial plaque in the arteries Breaks down into harmful lactic acid Causes the production of unhealthy mucus ![]() Contains cow pus Is difficult for the stomach to digest Contains unhealthy cholesterol Impairs peristalsis (bowel movement) Contains unhealthy fat Contains 10% or less of cow feces Causes constipation Causes development of uterine and ovarian fibroid tumors Contains too many harmful chemicals (i.e. preservatives) Causes various cancers, especially of the female reproductive system Lowers the body's pH level (makes the body more acidic than alkaline) Causes allergies Contains synthetic and harmful hormones (injected into the animals) Contains harmful steroids (injected into the animals) Causes infections in babies and children, especially those who are lactose intolerant Degenerative Diseases Cancer ![]() Organic Since you will continue consuming meat based upon your own reasons, Dherbs.com highly recommend that all meat products purchased should be ORGANIC if they are (1) available, and (2) affordable based upon your budget. Where To Find Organic You are more likely to find organic meat products at health food markets, especially major commercial ones like Whole Foods Market (nationwide), Natural Grocers (Northern California), New Frontiers (Sedona and Flagstaff, AZ), Erewhon Market (Los Angeles), Papa Jon's Natural Market (Long Beach, CA), and Sevananda Natural Foods Market (Atlanta, GA) to name a few. However, you may be able to find organic meat products at good local major commercial supermarkets. Costs and Prices Always GO ORGANIC! Organic will cost more money but it's better for you in the long run. Cooking Meat There are a few ways of cooking meat as you know and they include frying, baking, broiling, and barbequing to name a few. ![]() The BEST (healthiest) way or method of cooking meat is baking (in the oven, conventional oven or electric), so opt for baking over any other method of cooking meat. The next best (healthiest) way to cook meat is by frying. Always fry your meat in temperatures of 325 degrees of heat or less. Always and only use healthy oils (see list of healthy and unhealthy oils below). Never use animal oils (i.e. lard or shortening) to cook your meat in. Cooking meat in a Crock Pot is okay, especially if you desire tender meat. Meat cooked at lower temperatures require longer cooking and Crock Pots are ideal for this. Broiling meat is something Dherbs.com does not recommend due to the HA's and PAH's produced from the fire when the meat juices come in to contact with the fire. These substances are carcinogenic and thus unhealthy for you. HA's = Hetero-Cyclic Amines PAH's = Poly-Cyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons Barbecuing meat is another thing Dherbs.com does not recommend due to the HA's and PAH's produced from the fire when the meat juices come in to contact with the fire. These substances are carcinogenic and thus unhealthy for you. The most dangerous way or method to cook meat (or any other food for that matter) is by microwaving. Microwave ovens are DANGEROUS in that they emit harmful radiation (within a 10 foot distance). Microwaves cook meat by heating the meat from the inside out, which is unnatural. Meat normally cooks from the outside in. Microwave ovens cause meat molecules to spin in reverse, from left to right, which is what makes the meat more carcinogenic than it normally is. Eating raw meat is the natural way of eating meat, especially for natural carnivores (which humans are not by nature). Raw meat is easier on the body in digestion than cooked meat is. Consumption of raw meat is far more nutritious than consuming cooked meat. The fire in the cooking process destroys everything of value in a substance. If you decide to consume raw meat, just know that raw meat contains parasites and worms! HEALTHY COOKING OILS include: ![]() Olive Oil (including Extra Virgin) UNHEALTHY COOKING OILS include: Canola Oil "Alternative Cooking Substances" Alternative cooking substances such as butter and margarine are used by many people for cooking purposes, but these are liquid meat products (dairy products) and thus animal products and as we stated supra, avoid cooking in animal products. Good healthy non-animal alternative substances you can cook in include Earth Balance's Natural Buttery Spread and various soy-based butters and margarines which are far safer than real butter and margarine but which can also pose health risks as well due to their hydrogenation process. Also, many of the soy products on the market do not melt and this poses a grave health risk. This is why we recommend Earth Balance's Natural Buttery Spread as the best alternative product to cook in. Seasoning Meat You would be wise to cease from seasoning meat (or anything else) with commercial brand seasonings such as Morton's Table Salt, Lawry's Seasoning, and Accent. These substances are very harmful and insalubrious and should be avoided at all costs. ![]() Replace regular white table salt with sea salt. There are various good brands and kinds of sea salt on the market, from Celtic sea salt, Himalayan sea salt (naturally pink in color), and regular white and tan-colored sea salt. Sea salt may be sold coarse, in granules, rock form, or crystal and you may purchase and use the form you like best for cooking and seasoning. It's your choice. With sea salt, you only need half of the requirement of regular salt called for in a recipe. For example: 1 tablespoon of salt = half a tablespoon of sea salt 1 teaspoon of salt = half a teaspoon of salt Herbal seasonings (spices) are also good for cooking and seasoning meat with. We list good brands of herbal seasoning in our "Alternative Diet and Lifestyle Manual" e-book. One of the best brands of natural herbal seasoning is a brand called Herbamere, sold in good health food stores. Bragg's Liquid Aminos is a great seasoning agent for meat and other things. This is a very common and popular item nowadays, especially in health conscious communities and households, due to the taste that is somewhat reminiscent of soy sauce. Again, purchase our "Alternative Diet and Lifestyle Manual" for more choices of healthy seasonings. Tenderizing Meat Nothing tenderizes meat more than or better than papaya enzymes (papain) and pineapple enzymes (bromelain). Papain is the enzyme derived from papaya and bromelain is the enzyme derived from pineapples. Enzymes are the secret for tender meats prepared at posh restaurants in places such as Beverly Hills, California, Manhattan, New York, and Coconut Grove, Florida. If you want tender meats we recommend that you pour Dherbs.com Enzymes Formula on your meat. Capsules can be opened and the powder from 6-12 capsules poured directly on the meat to be baked in an oven. Enzymes powder and seasoning can be added to meat before and/or while cooking for tenderization and taste. Storing Meat Meat should be stored in plastic bags or Tuperware and consumed within 48 hours after first preparing. Sizes of Meat Servings Meat servings should be small as possible. Ancient cultures did not eat large servings of meat, except for many European people (especially European royalty) which is why they could consume meat and not suffer at the hands of all the diseases meat eaters suffer from today. It is not wise to eat meat 3 times a day. If you are eating meat 3 times a day work on reducing the consumption of meat to 2 times per day and then ultimately once a day. This is healthier and better for you. If you eat meat for breakfast, skip eating meat at lunch, and eat meat again for dinner (unless you can do with meat again for dinner) Or, if you do not eat meat at breakfast, eat meat for lunch and dinner. Simply try not to eat meat 3 times a day and then work on eating meat only once a day; then, once you arrive here, go from eating meat from 7 days a week, to 6 days a week, then 5 days a week and so on until you get down to eating meat only 3-4 times a week and only once a day. Kinds of Meats Here is our listing of the least harmful meats to the human body that are consumed by humans: ![]() 1. Seafood: Fish CAVEAT: Beware of consuming meat in Chinese restaurants as many Chinese restaurants are substituting chicken with rat/rodent meat. Rat meat can be made to taste identical to chicken due to use of chemicals and spices. Meat As A Source of Protein Cooked meat offers absolutely 0% of viable protein and if you eat meat and are concerned about acquiring necessary viable protein, we suggest you supplement with the following Dherbs.com formulas: Bio-Protein Formula Alternative sources of viable protein include: Fenugreek seeds NOTE: Everything in its natural raw state contains protein. Cooked meat as a viable source of protein is major propaganda of the meat industry. Recommended Dherbs.com Products For the Annual Meat-Eater If you consume meat products and will continue to do so (for whatever personal reasons of yours), it is in your best interest to consume and perform the following Dherbs.com formulas and cleanses: DAILY: Circul-Aid Formula, 2-3 capsules SEASONAL: Full Body Detox (at least 2 times per year) ![]() If you are going to continue to eat eggs (aborted chicken ovum), Dherbs.com recommends that you only purchase and consume BROWN eggs and avoid WHITE eggs. Chicken/hen eggs are naturally brown in color. White colored eggs are artificially produced manipulating chickens by exposing them to constant bright light (via artificial lighting) which causes them to unnaturally produce eggs all day long which taxes the poor chickens which ultimately end up on your dinner plate as some chicken entrée. White colored eggs are STERILE and thus will impair human reproduction abilities. After all, you are what you eat! If you eat that which is sterile, you become sterile. Eggs should only be consumed 3-4 days per week at the most. The least, the better for you health-wise! It doesn't matter if your are consuming boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, or sunny side up eggs, the least you eat of them the better for your health. Chicken eggs are affected by artificial steroids and hormones injected into chickens and thus adversely affect the human reproductive system, especially in females. Based upon the above, only use brown eggs in your recipes or to cook with! Cooked eggs offer 5% viable protein and contribute to a host of degenerative diseases, most notably high cholesterol and reproductive organs/glands dysfunctions and diseases, i.e. prostate problems, irregular menses, fibroid tumors, impotence, and sterility to name a few. ![]() How Many Eggs Should Be Eaten Daily? If you consume eggs, Dherbs.com suggest that not more than 2 eggs be consumed daily. Egg Alternative? There is an egg alternative on the market in health food stores called "Egg Replacer" which can be used to replace eggs in certain recipes calling for egg use. Many vegan and vegetarian now serve a "tofu scrambler" which is a mock version of "scrambled eggs." If you decide to continue to consume dairy products, only purchase and consume ORGANIC dairy products. "Milk" ![]() Choose organic milk over regular commercial homogenized and pasteurized milk and only use organic milk in recipes calling for milk. Remember, all milk naturally contains cholesterol (including organic milk) and so therefore limit your milk consumption to 2 glasses daily. CAVEAT: Never warm your milk up in a microwave oven! Milk already causes cancer (leukemia) and microwave ovens (and microwaved food) also causes cancer! "Cow's Milk vs. Goat Milk" Goat milk is better than cow milk as it is closer to human milk in composition though far distant from actual human milk; so if you need to decide which milk you are going to drink and use in your recipes in your pursuit to be healthier, goat milk is the better choice, so choose organic goat milk. CAVEAT: Though Dherbs.com respects everyone's right to freedom of choice and free will, Dherbs.com does not advise people of African descent consuming dairy products due to being naturally lactose intolerant. The following races/ethnicities should avoid consumption of dairy products: Africans (continental) For more information on dairy products, Dherbs.com recommends that you read the Dherbs.com article entitled "Dangerous Dairy" located in our articles section. "Cheese" Organic cheese brands are better than regular commercial cheese brands. Eat as little cheese as possible as cheese causes a host of diseases to develop. Cheese is a very harmful substance for females to consume, especially females of color (due to biological and genetic factors), and contributes to a host of health problems from constipation, vaginal discharge, uterine/ovarian fibroid tumors, skin problems, obesity, and high cholesterol. ![]() "Butter" Make an attempt to only consume butter 3-4 times per week and only once a day. Butter is a better choice than margarine which should be avoided in our opinion. "Ice Cream" Ice cream, like pastries and candy should return to being treats and thus only eaten on certain occasions (i.e. celebrations, good news, weekends, and holidays). Reserve weekends for consumption of treats. This way you give yourself something to look forward to and you become balanced in your intake of sweets. Americans used to be like this, only eating treats on special/certain occasions and not daily or whenever they wanted to. Make an effort not to consume meat and dairy in the same setting! Recommended Dherbs.com Products For the Annual Dairy Consumer If you consume dairy products and will continue to do so (for whatever personal reasons of yours), it is in your best interest to consume and perform the following Dherbs.com formulas and cleanses: DAILY: Circul-Aid Formula, 2-3 capsules SEASONAL: Full Body Detox (at least 2 times per year) Weekly Dietary Examples "Breakfast" (7-9 a.m.) Always begin the day off by drinking 2 glasses of good water (alkaline or distilled) ![]() Monday: Cereal and milk, fruit (sliced apples, bananas, etc.), organic orange juice Tuesday: Eggs (scrambled, boiled, etc), toast (whole wheat bread) with organic butter (or Earth Balance Natural Buttery Spread) and organic jelly/jam, fruit (sliced apples, bananas, etc.), organic orange juice Wednesday: Cereal and milk (1-2 bowls), OR, bagel/toast, fruit (sliced or whole), organic orange juice Thursday: Grits or oatmeal, 2-3 slices of turkey bacon, fruit (sliced), organic orange juice Friday: Eggs (scrambled, boiled, etc.), toast w/butter and jam/jelly, fruit (sliced), organic orange juice Saturday: Waffles or pancakes (1-2), hash browns, 2 slices of turkey bacon, fruit (sliced), organic orange juice or organic coffee Sunday: Eggs (scrambled, eggs, hash browns, toast w/butter and jam/jelly, fruit (sliced), orange juice or organic coffee SUGGESTION: Incorporate a fruit smoothie some days!
