Are you in a dilemma with your own baby boy as to whether or not you should have him circumcised? I have friends and family who have also been in this situation. I even had one friend who didn’t circumcise her sons simply because she couldn’t afford to have it done.

What you need to ask is if circumcision is truly necessary?

Little male babies do not need their penile foreskin cut off. It is totally unnecessary, especially in today’s world. Many ancient civilizations performed circumcision for religious rites and ritualistic reasons and purposes, many dealing with sex rituals.

Remove ritualistic reasons (beliefs) behind circumcision and circumcision is absolutely unnecessary and illogical. To say little boy babies need to be circumcised is to say God screwed up (leaving the foreskin of the penis in tact) and man must come to the rescue and right God’s wrong, and of course to man this is done by removing unnecessary foreskin on the penis.

Many new parents do not know about the origins of circumcision in the first place. They usually go with the flow because it is what society has always done.

Circumcision is surgery that isn’t necessary at all. Learn more about the why behind it by visiting the full article below:

Fruit smoothies are great for a snack or a refreshing beverage but buying them at some of the popular smoothie places can lead to more sugar and fat that you may not have suspected. A lot of smoothie shops add ice cream or sherbert to their smoothies as well as using whole milk. Not only do the calories add up but so does the junk you don’t want to put into your body.

The best way to avoid all of this is to make your own smoothies at home using fresh, organic ingredients. Smoothies are some of the easiest drinks to make and you will feel good knowing you know what is going into it.

Here is a super easy recipe for a strawberry smoothie:

“Tropical Strawberry”

Ingredients
One (1) cup frozen strawberries
One-half (½) cup pineapple
One-half (½) cup ripe papaya
One (1) small peach
One-half (½) fresh, ripe avocado
One-half (½) cup apple juice
One-half (½) cup of pina colada juice
One-fourth (¼) teaspoon coconut flavoring (optional)
One (1) teaspoon lime juice (optional)

Directions:
Pell, seed and slice pineapple, papaya, peach, and avocado. Combine with strawberries, juices, and flavoring in the blender (or Vita-Mixer). Puree until smooth.

Makes 2-3 servings.

If you want to learn how exactly a smoothie is put together as well as four more easy recipes, read the article below:

It’s not uncommon to hear about people’s fear of the dentist. From a health standpoint, it is understandable why some folks do not want to go to a dentist even when they have serious issues with their teeth. Most dentists you harmful substances when attempting to correct a problem. If you are health conscience there is no way you want these toxic subtances in your mouth. Not only that, but have you ever heard of some of the horror stories from friends or families that have had bad visits with the dentist?

Those reasons alone can make a health-conscience individual stay far away from a dentist. If you are in this exact dilemma there is actually options which you can choose:

Seek out a dentist who practices under wholistic (holistic) dentristy or biological dentistry

You can go to the conventional dentist and let him/her work on you (your teeth/tooth) using harmful substances and immediately after your dental visit take activated charcoal (carbon) or perform the Full Body Detox (which also contains activated charcoal) to remove the chemical toxins and poisons from your body.

The final option is to deal with your pain only to let it get worse but that is not an option I would go for. If you want to learn more about wholistic dentistry and doctors that perform it, read the article below:

Normally you wouldn’t think that chewing a piece of gum could be dangerous to one’s health but you may think otherwise once you learn about the ingredients in a piece of gum. Djehuty breaks down and enlightens readers to what is put into it and how these ingredients can affect our bodies.

Our modern day gums or chewing gums are made up of four major ingredients: Synthetic Rubber, Plastic, Sugar, and Coloring (dye). Modern day gums are produced from synthetic polymers, i.e. styrene-butadiene rubbers and polyvinyl acetate. The final product is composed of 60% sugar, 20% corn syrup, and only 20% actual gum material.

Yuck! To think that they put all of that unnecessary stuff into a piece of gum is incredible. Gum is mainly marketed as a way to clean your breath. Take a look at this:

Folks, contrary to popular opinion, you cannot mask foul breath with gum. Chewing gum on top of foul breath is the equivalent of spraying perfume on manure. It defeats the purpose! Foul breath is the result of a toxic and polluted colon so gum can’t possibly help. This is yet another American urban dietary legend.

The marketers are doing a great job as society to continues to play into the myth of gum being a breath freshener. Read the rest of this article and I’m sure you will think twice when you are shopping and pass all of the gums and breath mints in the check out.
