In August 2009, Kimberley received her 200 RYT at Prana Yoga College in Vancouver and from that moment on, her life was transformed.
Yoga fed her heart and soul and it brought a calm and peacefulness to her hectic life as a senior executive in the not for profit world.
Immediately she began teaching yoga during the weekends and it wasn’t too long before she found herself quitting her job and teaching full time as the new owner of Steveston Village Yoga.
Loving her new profession, Kimberley thrives on being of service to her students. Seeing her students enter the class with stress, strain and tiredness, it makes her heart sing when they leave with serenity, and balance within their mind, body, and soul.
I heard you speak about the harmful effects of pads and tampons on our African queens. Do you know of any natural pads they can use?
A good brand of natural pads are Natra Care available at most good health food stores. I think I mention more in my "Myth of Menstruation" article on my site.
