About The Holistic Dentist


Dian M. Olah, D.M.D. moved to Los Angeles from Clearwater, Florida where she was in private practice for 18 years. Dr. Olah sold her dental practice so she could spend more time with her family in Southern California.

Dr. Olah love being a general dentist who specializes in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. I have a natural flair for form, function, color and design.

Dr. Olah taught dental hygiene for ten years before attending dental school at the University of Florida. During this time, she developed a keen interest in the effects of heavy metals in the oral environment. Dr. Olah follows protocol for safe mercury filling removal established by the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (www.iaomt.org).

After graduating from UF in 1985, Dr. Olah spent many years studying tooth design and function. She has a special interest in biocompatible materials and balancing blood chemistry with nutrition. This is a very exciting yet challenging time for dentists who want to practice biological and holistic dentistry.

Dr. Olah has worked with Dr. Hal Huggins as a consultant, nutritional counselor and treatment dentist. Dr. Huggins is the author of one of the more popular mercury issue books entitled 'It’s All in Your Head'.
