You most certainly can! Isn't it wonderful to know that you can truly be whatever you desire to be in life? Isn't it such a great opportunity to have?
What would life be without opportunity? Opportunity gives rise to possibility and possibility gives rise to opportunity.
With opportunity and the mere existence of possibility, you can become anything you desire to become in life. It doesn't matter what your class, age, sex or gender, religious and/or political persuasion, or your race or ethnicity maybe. All of these things are irrelevant in this grand scheme of things. The mind can rise above the limitations of all of these things and therefore, once your mind is made is up, it's pretty much a wrap!
You see, it's very important to have a made up mind because the Universe agrees with a made up mind. This has to be by far the most favorite saying of my dear friend Aida Rodriguez, a saying that I wholeheartedly agree with. I haven't met too many stand-up comedians who are centered at their core like Aida and who knows such a profound universal truth.
Once you've made up your mind, write down or set your goals (long term and short term), become focused, disciplined, committed, en-passioned (yes, a word I made up), dedicated, work your mental science (visualize, imagine, dream), and work hard (when necessary) and smart (all the time), it's just a matter of time before you attain your goal of becoming what you desire to become. It is bound to happen!
Nothing will be able to get in your way unless you allow things to get in your way. We must remember that there are no limitations in life except for the ones we make for ourselves. That's right! The only limitations that exist are the ones we make for ourselves.
So if you don't make limitations for yourself, you won't have any.
Sure, they'll be bumps in the road on the journey, but these bumps in the road are nothing but challenges that are nothing but opportunities that serve to get you to your outcome or goal. They help to polish you and at the same time reveal your character. Challenges don't create character. They simply reveal character!
Every little knock on your journey is a boost. Everything that happens on the journey happens for your benefit. This is the way of things according to Divine Law.
It is your birthright and destiny to become what you desire to become, whatever it may be. Nothing is impossible (except in your mind). However, you have to remember that both possibility and impossibility both come from the mind pursuant to thought. You determine both of them! You determine if a thing for you is possible or impossible. This is why you have to make conscious choices. You have to learn the power of belief, for if you can conceive a thing, and believe in a thing, then you can achieve a thing. It's that simple! But you are the determining factor for your manifestation of achievement in life. Now one else! Only YOU!
The only thing that matters is that you believe in yourself. Only your belief matters at the end of the day. This is why whether you believe you can, or believe you can't, is up to you. As Dr. Norman Vincent Peale said: "If you think you can or can't, you're right! It doesn't matter what anyone else believes about you because actually it doesn't even concern you. It's really none of your business. Always remember that another person's perception, thoughts, opinions, or beliefs about you are not necessarily your reality. Only you create your reality and your reality is the business of no one else.
You don't need other people to believe in you and your dreams and goals. Sure, it helps if they do and it even feels good if they do, but it is unnecessary as long as you have undying belief in yourself. That's all that really counts!
The secret to having others to believe in you and your dreams and goals in life is for you to believe in your dreams and goals in life. People simply give you back what you project outwardly. When you believe in yourself, others too will believe in you in accordance pursuant to law. 
So, make up your mind to become what you desire to become, whatever it may be. Whatever it may be, you can achieve it if you believe and put your mind to it.
Whether it be a lawyer, doctor, judge, politician, spiritual leader, astronaut, engineer, CEO of a major corporation, herbalist, naturopathic doctor, college professor, actor or actress, martial arts expert, entrepreneur, millionaire businessman or woman, senator, congressman or woman, city mayor, state governor, etc. YOU CAN BECOME IT! Believe this and GO FOR IT!
You don't need any money to believe! There is no requisite of being a certain color or member of a certain race to believe. You don't need to be religious to believe. All you have to do is believe and then act on that belief.
So aim for the stars and dream big! Just dream with open eyes!
