I was hipped to oil pulling by my good friend Harold Acey, a beautiful and very knowledgeable soul and rare gemstone of a metaphysician. Ace has truly helped to improve my life simply through his genuine friendship. I have learned so much from Ace just from being with Ace. We simply just roll out together and just chop it up. It's beautiful because every conversation is stimulating and enlightening. We learn from one another and it is a beautiful exchange.
If I had to call anyone a master metaphysician, it would be Harold Acey. He's just as deep as Bobby Hemmit, Delbert Blair, and Phil Valentine but he's very funny as hell, and more down-to-earth, more laid back, and somewhat more 'street' than the others which makes Ace very unique.
Now what is oil pulling?
Oil pulling is a natural therapy (called oil therapy) whereby one uses cold pressed sesame seed oil or sunflower seed oil in the mouth to pull toxins from the gums. The oil can be refined oil and doesn't have to be organic unless you simply choose for your oil to be organic.
The therapy is to be performed every morning before breakfast or simply before you eat. The therapy must be performed on an empty stomach which is why morning time is best.
You simply add one to two tablespoons of the oil to your mouth and swish (from side to side or cheek to cheek) for approximately 15-20 minutes. Yes, 15-20 minutes which in all due honesty in the beginning may be somewhat challenging because the mouth can get tired. If this is the case, simply aim for swishing for 10 minutes and then work your way up to 12 minutes and then to 15 minutes and eventually 20 minutes. Just remember, the longer you swish, the more effective the therapy.
DO NOT SWALLOW THE OIL while swishing because the oil is now toxic!
As Dr. F. Karach (who did a thesis on oil therapy) suggests, "the healing process is accompanied by the human organism on its own. In this way it is possible to heal cells, tissues, and all organs simultaneously; the body itself gets rid of toxic waste without disturbing the healthy microflora."
So with the oil in your mouth, move the oil slowly. Swishing for 15-20 minutes. If this helps, remember to "sip, suck, and pull through the teeth." This process (swishing) causes the oil to be thoroughly mixed with saliva and in the process activates the enzymes which draw or pull toxins out of the blood.
As the process (of swishing) continues, the oil gets thinner and white and somewhat a little foamy.
After the 15-20 minutes of swishing are up, spit the oil out - preferably in a Dixie cup (because you need to inspect the residues drawn from the mouth from the swishing process. Again, the contents should be white. If the contents are not white, but yellow, this is a sign that you did not swish or pull long enough.
Next, the oral cavity must be rinsed. Rinse thoroughly with water (preferably distilled water). You may also use your fingers or a cloth towel to clean your teeth. Personally, I prefer to just brush my teeth; brushing with my 'Auromere' toothpaste dipped in some Dherbs.com Herbal Healing Tooth Powder. I brush twice: once with the toothpaste and tooth powder, and then a follow up brushing with toothpaste and activated charcoal.
Next, I gargle with my hydrogen peroxide-based mouthwash. After this, I then clean my tongue with my stainless steel tongue cleaner (which you can find at a good health food store).
Your teeth with shine, and both your teeth and gums will feel good and your breath will smell oh so sweet! Guaranteed!
Make sure to inspect the cup with your spittle in it so as to inspect the residue pulled from your mouth, most notably your gums. If you were to see one drop of this post-swish spittle magnified 500-600 times under a microscope, you'd see microbes in their first stage of development.
When I first performed oil therapy, in the white spittle residue were little black pieces. I was like "Damn!" "That came from my mouth (gums)?" It was the same reaction after my first ear coning session. I couldn't believe all of what came out of my ears. The human body is beautiful but some nasty looking and smelling stuff sure can come out of it, especially when you detoxify and cleanse the body. This is why detoxing is so important and why you hear me talking about detoxing so much!
After you inspect your spittle, pour it down the sink's drain.
Oil pulling is a harmless biological method with amazing results. Oil therapy is very effective in treating or healing various diseases and can also prevent the need for surgical intervention in some cases as well as medication - in all cases in my honest opinion. Humans should never take pharmaceutical drugs for there is a plant in Nature that can do what every man-made drug does but without the plethora of adverse side effects.
An important result of oil therapy (swishing or swooshing) is that during the process your metabolism is intensified, which leads to improved and enhanced health and wellbeing.
Results of this amazing process (especially if you do all the other things I mentioned above with the brushing with toothpaste and herbal tooth powder, activated charcoal, gargling with hydrogen peroxide, etc.) include fastening of loose teeth, elimination of bleeding gums, elimination of plaque buildup on the teeth, prevention and eradication of internal mouth sores, prevention and healing of abscesses of the gums, and the visible whitening of the teeth.
To accelerate the healing process the therapy can be performed 2-3 times a day but always before meals on an empty stomach.
Oil pulling benefits the whole body, not just the mouth, and helps to eradicate all diseases. The entire body benefits from this process.
If you eat meat (slaughtered animal flesh) and dairy products (cow snot/pus/mucus) and engage in oral sex, this is a highly recommended therapy for purposes of health and hygiene, especially oral health and hygiene.
