I tell people all the time that we should not and do not have to be confused about our lives here on Earth. No part of it do we need to be confused about because we were born with all kinds of tools to assist and help us to evolve into the glorious light beings that we are.
 We were born with maps to help guide us along our path here on this great planet, a school of higher soul learning. These maps include astrology and numerology. Believe it or not, but our hands (palms) are also tools and maps for us. Yes, we even have messages imprinted into our palms that can be read (usually by individuals who specialize in reading the palms, i.e. palm readers).
We really have no excuse for our present sorry state of affairs of our personal lives and our collective world. We just don't! We reside and exist in a sea of answers. You cannot have answers without problems so problems are a part of life so that we can seek the answers and apply them and grow, develop, and evolve.
For most of us we need problems to propel us into seeking answers. Some of us are more spiritually inclined than others and will seek answers to life's riddles or as Jesus called them the mysteries of heaven (life) without having to be stuck in the butt by the Devil's pitchfork (a universal symbol for stress and problems).
Numerology can be considered an occult study but you don't have to be into the occult to study, learn, and apply numerology; after all, numbers are numbers and we all deal with numbers in our world and we deal with numbers every single day. Numbers are all around us!
Most of us, especially those of us who are into religion, may be reluctant to deal with anything occult in nature due to earlier religious programming. We may have been taught that the occult is not from God or that the occult deals with darkness or wickedness or evil. Without ever studying the occult for themselves, many people believe this. No independent research, no independent investigation into the occult on their on, they just simply hear some man that they believe in and trust and adhere to his every word. You will not get free in this world with that type of mentality and attitude. That is a sheepish mentality and attitude. There are too many sheep here, especially in the United States, and that's why we have lost our civil rights and most basic liberties - simply following and trusting in leaders whom we don't question. We just blindly trust, trust, trust and follow, follow, follow!
But the men who control the world, they study the so-called dark areas of life (the occult). To keep the masses away from such high sciences, the simply put the cover of evil, the Devil, Lucifer, or Satan on these sciences which frighten the little common man and woman away from them. And where does the little man and woman go instead? To the biggest slave making institution we have: the religious facility (church, temple, masjid or mosque, and synogogue).
And what do we get from these places? Teachings that keep us in our place! Teachings that make sure we never delve into the greatest mystery there is - the mystery of Self; going within to bring out all that we truly desire to know. Inside of self is where all your power is. It's where your sovereignty is! It's where your answers are! Everything that you are seeking is inside of self.
You see, in the Matrix, by not going within self, you help to create industries - service based industries. Service based industries whereby you have to pay other people to do things for you that you could actually do and be doing for yourself.
 You could learn and perform law yourself but you have attorneys you can hire for money to perform law for you. You could learn about your body and health but you have doctors that you can pay money to tell you about yourself and your health needs (which we all know is not the case anymore as doctors see you for 10 minutes, write you a prescription, and get you out of the office so they can collect from your HMO which doesn't want you in the doctor's office for more than 10 minutes).
We have counselors now to help us with grief, marital problems, depression, and a bunch of other things that are simply the result of going against Nature and Universal law. Period!
We are kept deaf, dumb, and blind on purpose by the Matrix! The Matrix cannot exist if the majority of people are awake (conscious). The Matrix needs you to be sleep (unaware). This is how the Matrix exploits you! Instead of living your higher life purpose, the Matrix has you working a job and mostly for survival purposes, so you can pay bills to corporations that have totally usurped right from under us all things God provided for us and provided free of charge. Because we reside in cities (municipalities), we pay for things Nature provides us with free of charge, i.e. water, gas (fire/heat), and electricity.
We even have corporations called supermarkets that provide us with so-called food and food (fruits and vegetables) which also are provided by Nature free of charge.
The Matrix sells us everything. The Matrix takes things provided absolutely free of charge, refine it so it is unrecognizable, and then put a price on it and sells it to us under the guise that we need it.
The Matrix (via a potato chip company) takes a potato and refines it into a potato chip or French fry and puts a price on it. The original potato had nutrition but the potato chip and French fry lacks nutrition. The refined outcome of a potato costs more than the potato itself. But this is the Matrix for you!
The Matrix even refines human beings who don't like themselves. Don't like your nose, lips, or breasts? No problem! For a fee, the Matrix can alter these body parts for you with synthetic materials and substances and give you what you want (usually based upon social fads, peer pressure, low self-esteem and/or poor self-image).
Welcome to the Matrix, a place concocted by Man that has redirected your life path, redirected your soul-journ, and all so you can be controlled by a tiny group of men - a plutocratic oligarchy.
You are given public education instead of the higher sciences. These days, you are not even given arts and crafts so much, but plenty of left-brain things that require logic and reason more so than creativity, intuition, and emotion. We have become imbalanced creatures, creatures using one side of the brain more than the other.
The Matrix (via public schooling, religion, etc.) keeps you away from the occult so as to keep you enslaved. The occult requires use of the intuitive side of yourself. Albert Einstein knew that intuition and imagination were more important than knowledge.
In the Matrix, we have been taught to ignore our intuition and by doing this, we are ignoring God (Higher Self), we are ignoring our angels and spirit guides who communicate with us via intuition in many instances.
You have been taught to pray rather than to think. A thinking man is better off than a praying man. To a thinking man, thinking is prayer. God really does not want you to pray. God wants you to think - to use common sense!
Poor people have been praying all of their lives and look at them! Still ruled by men who do not pray and who do not care to pray. The men who rule the world are thinking men. They use their minds! They understand Universal law. You saw a scene of this in the very beginning of Rhonda Byrne's DVD The Secret with the roundtable of powerful men who decided that Universal law would be hidden from the masses of people so as to be controlled by them. This is so true! It's been going on for thousands of years.
I am not telling you to stop praying because there is a science to prayer, just not in the traditional sense of prayer. Meditation is more complimentary to thinking than is prayer. Your mind is not quiet in prayer but it is in meditation. Meditation clears the mind, silences it - clears it. Prayer reinforces chatter. You're actually praying for yourself because God knows your needs even before you have knowledge of them. You don't have knowledge of them and so that's why you pray to God. Prayer is for YOU! Not God! God needs nothing from us nor does God require anything from us. Nothing at all! This is why charity is for man and not God! To give to God is nonsensical. God doesn't need money. Man needs money! Man is telling you to give to him through God. He puts God's name on his scheme to make it appear holy, righteous, and good.
Charity doesn't help the world. It only reinforces poverty and that's why we still have poverty on the planet. We don't show people how to use their minds and become magicians, providers of all their individual needs. We feel sorry for them and give them things, further weakening them.
I'm not saying don't feed the hungry, but after he or she is fed, properly educate him or her. Reveal mental science to them! Let them know that their life is in their own hands, that their present life and situation is the result of past thinking that has manifested, and perhaps a bit of past life karma.
Put responsibility on their minds. Personal responsibility! Let them know they are All-powerful and can change their lives and condition by changing their thoughts and attitudes. They can improve their health by improving their diet.
Charity is a temporary fix. It's not even a solution. Charity only deals with symptoms, but not the root or heart of the matter. Poverty consciousness and ignorance are the root cause of poverty and charity is like a drug, a temporary fix; but mental science provides the necessary healing. Mental science is the panacea! It fixes the root of the problem or problems.
Today, many people only give charity for tax write-off purposes. For it to be real charity, the giving must be from the heart with intent and meaning behind the giving.
Okay, so you're lost in life. Don't know which way to go. You need answers. Church ain't working! The mosque ain't working. The education you received from college ain't working. Politics ain't working! Philosophy ain't working!
Where do you go from here? Who do you turn to? How about to YOURSELF?
While I feel that astrology and Tarot are the quintessential maps for us, numerology compliments astrology and Tarot (as the true Trinity) and it too is a map that leads us within ourselves. Numerology is a basic map, whereas astrology is a complex map or can serve to be a complex map.
Numerology is easy because it deals with numbers. There is something esoteric about your birth date, your age, your street address, your telephone number, and everything else with a number (including your Social Security Number).
Numbers are symbols and behind every symbol is a message. That's right! Everything that you and I do or touch that involves numbers holds a message.

You need to know that numbers, like the stars and celestial bodies above, cannot make anything happen in your life. As master metaphysician Harold Acey says: "Numbers, like stars and celestial bodies, do not compel. They only impel!"
Everything in the material world resonates at a specific level and numbers and letters are representations of the vibrational patterns.

The most numerology can do for you is to simply describe points within a cycle and offer a method of interpreting and utilizing these points. It provides a structure for understanding, over-standing, and inner-standing life.
When you learn to apply your understanding, over-standing, and inner-standing of numbers, you will become aware of some of the rhythms and cycles in your life. You will begin to notice when it is best to act or not act. You will have an opportunity to look deeper within yourself with more awareness.
Like other occult or esoteric sciences, you must have an open mind. You will need this in order to truly observe numbers at work.
Numerology can be broken down into specific areas such as Universal year, Personal year, your Inner Personality, your Outer personality, your Destiny number, and your Life Path Number.
The Universal number applies to all humanity as a collective and represents the trends and challenges that are affecting everyone in a given year.
Your Personal Year number represents your personal lessons and opportunities for the year.
Your Inner Personality represents the private or concealed side of yourself. In astrology, your numerological inner personality would match your Moon sign. This number rules your secret ambitions and desires.
Your Outer Personality number represents your personality, the social you. In astrology, your numerological outer personality would match your Rising or Ascendant sign or perhaps your Sun sign.
The Outer Personality is the side of you most noticeable and obvious to other people. It represents how other people view you but it's not the real you. It's also what other people will remember after their first acquaintance with you. It is your face that you present to the world.
Your Destiny number represents the role you may potentially play in society depending on your ability to harmonize your inner and outer personalities.

Your Life Path number represents the typical way you approach life experiences and describes your unique innate abilities. In astrology, your numerological Life Path number would match your Sun sign.
When Master Numbers are involved, i.e. 11, 22, 33, etc. it simply means there is more opportunity for expression in life and more is demanded from the individual.
