Neem - A Male Contraceptive?

by .

Tell a Friend

There are individuals who broadly promote Neem Leaf as a male contraceptive and to these individuals I would say that's a very bold to promote publicly! Neem Leaf as a male contraception? I don't think so!

About 7 years ago, I met a "natural" couple who had financial difficulties but were living natural and after two children didn't want any more and so the couple put the male (by himself) on Neem Leaf (herb) and only 3 capsules per day and yes, what they feared appeared - pregnancy! They opted for the unnatural surgical abortion.

It is actually NEEM SEED OIL that has spermicidal and anti-fertility effects (for males), however, while in the female vagina!!!

What this young, well-meaning couple above didn't know is that no experiments (for contraceptive purposes) have been done with Neem Leaf, only Neem Seed Oil, and still, experiments with Neem Seed Oil were 100% IN VITRO (meaning, in a dish in the lab, not in real life).

In in vitro experiments, Neem Seed Oil immobilized sperm cells within 20 to 30 seconds of being in contact with Neem seed oil.

So, in in vitro experiments, Neem Seed Oil is 100% effective in preventing pregnancies. Now if a woman or couple wants to rely upon IN VITRO experimental results for purposes of contraceptive effects, be my guest. Now this is not to say that it may not be effective (for folks who may be interested in experimenting with it). To me, when it comes to contraception, you want to be 99%, if not 100%, positive of the effects.

Neem Leaf (the herb) is widely available, but Neem Leaf is NOT a male-specific herb and does not have the spermicidal and antifertility effects as Neem Seed Oil.

Medicinally or therapeutically, Neem Leaf (herb) is a potent anti-bacterial and insecticide (but more so in the form of Neem Seed Oil) and a great aid in naturally healing diabetes as it acts like insulin in the body after being digested. It will also work wonders for hair care (a lot of Ayurvedic brands of shampoos use Neem leaf as an ingredient -- I personally use Auromere's Neem Leaf Shampoo, and like it).

And sorry ladies (who would like to make Neem Seed Oil something for males alone to take) -- Neem seed Oil's contraceptive properties work by being inserted into the female vagina! Not on the tip of the male penis.

Do the research and you will find or discover that Neem Seed Oil is referred to as a female contraceptive. It's not me (trying to put Neem Seed Oil off on women). It is Mother Nature!

The one thing that I have learned (as a herbalist) is that Nature puts the responsibility of contraception on women because it is women who are the ones who become pregnant and carry human life so Nature (not men as many females, those with issues against the male gender and species) relegates the responsibility of contraception on women. Nature does this and she has her reasons!

Even in being balanced, Nature caters more so to women than males and this is why you'll find that women have over 350 female-specific herbs whereas men/males only have 150!

Nature supports women more so than men because women carry babies and thus gives new life. It is for this very same reason Mother Nature gives women/females more water and fat content in their bodies than men/males.

It is Nature who considers conception and pregnancy and provides accordingly. This is why women have breasts which are not primary embellishments for horny men. They are the primary food source for infants or babies. Nature got her whole creation covered. She is not caught up of the superficial, bullshit war of the genders like humans are.

And even though Nature caters more to women than man, she is still balanced, just like our pH level, despite it being 7.3, is still balanced and leads to homeostasis; and just how a diet that is 80% alkaline and 20% acid is still considered balanced.

You never go wrong using Mother Nature as the yardstick. I never have! The only natural (plant-based) abortion I actually promoted was that done with the use of Rue leaf (and I actually guided a young woman through the process which took 3 days, 1 day for the abortion and about 2 days to successfully and effectively stop the bleeding -- yes, the woman will bleed while aborting as in all cases of spontaneous abortion, but you had better know how to stop the bleeding before the woman hemorrhages and possibly die, because the bleeding is profuse, and I mean profuse).

Sorry fellas (and ladies), but Neem Seed Oil doesn't work if a man rubs some on his penis. The oil must be saturated enough to kill sperm cells and that can only happen in or inside the female vagina, not on the tip of the penis.

Neem Seed Oil immobilizes sperm cells after sperm cells come into contact with Neem Seed Oil. See, this is why it's referred to as a female contraceptive. It must be placed inside the female vagina to work as a contraceptive. That's just how it is.

History records the use of Neem Seed Oil for contraceptive purposes. Around the first century B.C., Charaka, the Indian (Ayurvedic) physician, gave a detailed method for using Neem Seed Oil for contraception. Cotton soaked in Neem Seed Oil was kept in the vagina for fifteen minutes before intercourse. This killed the sperm. So Neem Seed Oil as a source of contraception is nothing new.

And so (based upon the above), I would recommend that women and/or couples choosing to use Neem Seed Oil for contraceptive purposes apply the Neem Seed Oil to some cotton or some other natural fabric serving as a suppository and which can be inserted into the vagina and allow to stay in the vagina for 15-30 minutes. This process should be used along with Mexican Wild Yam Root (as I detailed above) for assurance and peace of mind pertaining to contraception.

NOTE: Neem Seed Oil is not cheap but it is also not expensive, depending on who's buying it or who you're asking. It has a very strong, not-so-pleasant smell too.

In closing, Neem Seed Oil (also applied to cotton and inserted into the female vagina) can offer mild or minimum prophylactic effect against some forms of STD (sexually transmitted disease), but I wouldn't risk it, personally. Today in the Matrix, there are some very virulent STDs and genital herpes is still kicking ass and taking names.

At best, Neem Seed Oil would offer moderate to high prevention against certain bacterial infections, mostly of a vaginal nature (due to the nature of the vagina: dark, wet, warm, and acidic by nature).
