Because menopause ties into the female menstrual cycle, which is normal but unnatural, menopause too is normal but unnatural.
Menopause is the flipside of puberty. It is puberty inverted.
Menopause is a physical sensor that denotes the termination of the menstrual cycle in a female. Menopause derives from Latin "menses" meaning 'month', and Greek "pauses" meaning 'to cease' and is medically defined as: "the cessation of menses, but commonly used to refer to the period of the female climacteric. Menses stop naturally with the decline of cyclic hormonal production and function between 45 and 60 years of age but may stop earlier in life as a result of illness or the surgical removal of the uterus or both ovaries. As the production of ovarian estrogen and pituitary gonadotropins decreases, ovulation and menstruation become less frequent and eventually stop. Fluctuations in the circulating levels of these hormones occur as the levels decline. Hot flashes are the only nearly universal symptom of the menopause." Mosby's Medical Dictionary, 3rd edition, 1991, pg. 742
So what are my personal views and insights into menopause? Well, menopause is mostly a phenomenon with Western women, especially in the capital of disease - the United States; however, menopause is making its way to Africa, the Orient/Asia, and other countries of the East due to the embracing of the Standard American Diet and the sinister fast food industry. With democracy comes disease, and disease of every kind.
The female menstruation was originally an energetic activity based upon the female energy body discharging toxic energy via vibrational menstruum every 28 days (under the original lunar calendar). The menses or menstrual discharge took place on the energy level. Females dumped off toxic and stale energy on the emotional level, etheric level, astral level, mental level, and spiritual levels. It was mainly a dumping off on the emotional level. But due to an inner defect that developed over past millennia, an imbalance occurred which today has manifested physically with the defect of the process called menstruation. The external situation always reflects the inner situation.
The stale and polluted vital life force being discharged from the body monthly brought about the discharging of stale and polluted physical vital life force - blood, on a monthly basis.
And because every physical action occurs on the astral level, females also have an astral menstrual cycle. Whatever comes out of the physical menstruation exists on the astral level. Astral menstruum toxicity is created with the physical menstruation since the physical menstruation releases toxins. The physical blood (menstruum) is a carrier base for toxic emotions. Females release their emotional toxicity via their menstrual cycle. This can be truly beneficial for the conscious woman who can will or bring on her menstruation at will.
Menopause is the physical occurrence that corresponds with the vibrational occurrence (vibrational menopause) pertaining to the completion of the first cycle of the seven cycles of energetic occurrences that correspond to the metaphysical attributes and lessons of the seven major energy centers called charkas.
There are seven major chakras (though many sources claim 8-12 major charkas). It all depends on whom you're asking. Each chakra develops within a seven-year period. Each chakra period (of seven years) teaches us something about ourselves on the most intimate and individual level.
The first seven years (0-7) of our lives activates our Root or first chakra, which deals with our discovery of grounding, materiality, survival, basic instincts, and individuality. We become aware of our material existence and thus learn to identify with our individual body and self. This is why we are given toys to play with in the Matrix in these first seven years of our lives when we really should be given spiritual lessons and wisdom, understanding, and knowledge. But we are given toys (dalliances) and Nursery rhymes instead, which have nothing to do with the cultivation of our souls.
And because these first seven years are the formative years of our lives, mentally speaking, the Church said "give me your child(ren) for his/her first seven years and then you can have them back." Whatever is formed in these first seven years is impressed for life. This is also true for any other period in our lives, but the first seven years are critical to our formation as little people (children). This is why the Bible says in Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart." This is very true! Proverbs 22:6 pertain to the training up of a child in his/her first seven years of life in this present life incarnation or dispensation.
The next seven years (8-14) of our lives deals with our discovery of emotions, sexuality, relating to others (relationships), sociability, pleasure; lower creativity, money, and addictions. From ages 8-14, we reach puberty, and girls will do so faster than boys. Little girls get their menses during these years, especially in Western nations. In the United States, African-American girls collectively begin their menstrual cycle between ages eight and nine.
And as a far as sexuality is concerned, hormones trigger during these years. The little girl gets her menstruation, but little boys begin their series of wet dreams, experimenting with masturbation, growing a little peach fuzz (hair) on their testicles and penis, and involuntary processes of having a boner (rock hard penis).
Puppy love also begins in these years. Girls and boys find themselves attracted to one another unlike in the first seven-year period. We get lost in emotion during this time. You normally get your first boyfriend or girlfriend during this period as well. For many, virginity is also lost or shed in these years too. Pleasure and excitement are also big during these years. These are the amusement park years! We also become very creative as well, making up songs and dances, developing ideas, and developing new trends.
We also become conscious of money during these years too! In elementary school we didn't require money for lunch, but this changed when we got to junior high school and had to pay for our lunch (usually junk food).
And as far as addiction is concerned, many of us took our first puff of a cigarette or first hit of alcohol during these years. Many people got addicted to sex and turned out during these years as well.
The next seven years of our lives (ages 15-21) deals with our discovery of our ego, our drives, determination, and willpower; our principles (things we believe strongly in and about and take a stand for); and our identity in society (what we aspire to be in life). We develop our self-esteem and image during these years. Our mental ability ripens during these years. Brain power and use peaks during these years. We go to college during these years and college helps to prepare us for our roles in the constructed and concocted society (Matrix) as literal human resources of the world Rulers.
Our sense of power comes alive during this period that activates and awakens our solar plexus (Third Chakra). This is a pivotal period in our development because we make many important decisions about our lives during these years, e.g. college, work/occupation, joining the military, marriage, etc.
The next seven-year period (22-28) deals with our discovery and/or true pursuit of love. Love, romance, and intimacy become very serious and intense during these years, not like in our puppy love years. During these years, we think about our true soul mate, getting married for the first time, having children and starting a family.
We also reach our sexual peak during this time. We're usually settled into our careers by now so after satisfying the ego, we have time to attempt to satisfy the heart. However, a lot of sex takes place during these years because many are trying to find love through the physical sex act. Our sexuality ripens during this period. We do a lot of experimenting sexually as well.
Our Fourth Chakra or Heart Chakra is activated during these years. And because the Heart Chakra has to do with compassion and forgiving, we suffer a lot of disheartening things in relationships, e.g., break-ups/separation, infidelity, being dogged out, etc. during these years that present us with circumstances and situations that compel us to deal with compassion and forgiving (especially of those that hurt us) for purposes of learning life lessons.
The next seven-year period (29-35) deals with our discovery of self-expression and higher creativity as our Fifth Chakra is activated. We reach our prime during these years. We began to slow down (if we have been playing the field). We take life a bit more serious than we did before. Our views about life, society, God, and politics are pretty much shaped now. Our maturity peaks as well. We may become politically or socially active. We may commit to a religious institution during these years, especially if we haven't been successful in love affairs and finding that special someone.
Many women will desire to exhale due to waiting so long to exhale. "Waiting to exhale refers to a sigh of relief for having found Mr. Right. Women generally want satisfying sex (and orgasm) coupled with intimacy and romance during these years. Female reproductive diseases really kick in during these years too, especially endometriosis, fibroid tumors, pelvic inflammatory disease, yeast infection, and vaginitis to name a few.
The next seven-year period (36-42) deals with our discovery of inner self. We are now more serious about God and our relationship to God. Our intelligence peaks during this time. Political careers for those involved in politics really take off during this time too. For many, religious devotion peaks. We begin to really do soul-searching during these years. We begin to see that trust in the world/society (Matrix) and doing what you were educated to do has failed us and miserably so.
Regardless of all the mundane, worldly, and material accomplishments we may have attained, our souls are still void, and hungry for spiritual truth. Many will experience the "mid-life crisis" during these seven years. We really lean in the direction God during these years as we activate our Sixth Chakra, the seat of Christ consciousness.
For women, they become conscious of their biological clock more than ever, especially if they have not had a child thus far in their life. The biological clock really pertains to hormones, the decrease in them. The clock is not ticking! The hormone production is just declining because health is declining due to constant and repetitious negative thoughts and thinking, poor mental attitude, and poor diet and lifestyle. The body is degenerating!
The next seven-year period (42-49) deals with our discovery of our true spiritual relationship with God. The thought of old age creeps in and settles within us simply because we bought off into it. For many of us, we begin to think that death is right around the corner so we really want to be down ("close") with God so religious affiliation and devotion is of great importance during these years. For the more spiritually mature, we really get deep into our spiritual consciousness.
For a woman, this period marks the end for conception. The menstruation ends. This is the period of the advent of the Crone or Old Wise Woman. Procreative forces subside for creative forces. This should be a smooth transition but because of poor diet and lifestyle which led to poor health over the years on the physical level, coupled more importantly with the average woman's fear of aging (getting older) and losing her procreative power, her self-rejection, the sadness of the successful woman syndrome, etc., the transition is bumpy due to emotional imbalance and physical sexual reproductive system imbalance (hormonal deficiency).
We call the above - MENOPAUSE which can trigger a host of symptoms, including hot flashes, fatigue, vaginal dryness, insomnia, anxiety, and even depression.
The depression linked to (or stemming from) menopause deals with the refusal to accept the biological fact that the "motherhood" days are over.
A difficult menopause conveys the message your body is telling you to let go of any fear from growing old.
Males put emphasis on fertility and procreation and that's why virgins and young girls are so desired in the world, especially in the Eastern world. In our world, a woman's worth has a lot to do with her fertility, so naturally a change on the psychological level takes place when the fertility years come to an end (menopause).
Menopause has a lot to do with the health of the uterus and the ovaries, but mainly the uterus, which is the seat of female emotions located at the Second Chakra (a/k/a Sacral Plexus).
On a physical level, menopause also denotes necrosis of the uterus. But just because the uterus has atrophied doesn't mean a woman doesn't need her uterus. She was born with it so she should die (transition) with it. Plus, it's the seat of the female brain and mind. It's the seat of female emotions and intuition. This is a highly prized and important organ in the female body. It should not be removed under any circumstances. Many women who reach menopause are unwisely opting to have their uterus removed via the surgical process of hysterectomy but hysterectomies are totally unnecessary. You don't see men on average or in general getting their prostate glands removed, so why are so many women getting and being advised to get their female equivalent of the male prostate gland, the uterus, removed?
Hysterectomies are big business, just as all surgeries are big business. Doctors and hospitals make a lot of money via surgery. And the facts show that most surgeries are totally unnecessary; but that won't stop Dr. Butcher from cutting on your body. Dr. Butcher mind is on PROFITS, not human health!
It is important to note that more than 90% of all hysterectomy patients (victims/participants) are African-American. Doctors are quick to remove the uterus of African-American females, even if they have never conceived before. I hear from young African-American females in their 20's and 30s who have never conceived a child and who tell me their doctor has advised them to undergo a hysterectomy due to their endometriosis or fibroid tumors and in some cases, for no apparent health or medical reasons at all.
And a few African-American females who unwisely underwent a hysterectomy before ever conceiving a child told me how they became so depressed, even to the point of mild suggestions of suicide.
These doctors are not removing uteruses and throwing them away afterwards. They are keeping the uterus for experimentation purposes (medical research). Those removed uteruses (from all women victim-patients) bring in millions of dollars.
I became aware of the sinister hysterectomy business and industry from the works and research of Vicki Hufnagle and my dear friend Tim Morrow.
Hysterectomies were first performed for purposes of preventing women from being hysterical as hysteria was seen as a neurosis or a psychological problem. Hysterectomy origins begins with the so-called disease of hysteria:
"That the disease [hysteria] got its name form the Greek word for the womb [hustera], Veith writes: "Inherent in this is the meaning of the earliest views on the nature and cause. It was perceived to be solely a disorder of women caused by alterations of the womb. The association of hysteria with the female generative system was in essence an expression of awareness of the malign effect of disordered sexual activity on emotional stability. But these concepts go back to man's earliest speculations about health and disease, long before the term hysteria' had been coined and they indicate the prominent role that sexual life played in general well-being even in remote antiquity." Woman Words. Mills, Jane. New York: Henry Holt Publishing (1989), pg. 123
Continuing:
"In the C16th, however, as men began to wrest the business of healing from the traditional woman-healers (the prime victims of the witch-hunters), those afflicted with hysteria were once again seen to require medical rather than religious attention." Ibid
It is not so much that the womb was connected to the brain, but more importantly and evidently unknown centuries ago, that the uterus itself is a brain and has a mind of its own. It is a medical and scientific fact that the uterus secretes the same secretion that the brain secretes when thinking is taking place. Clearly, the uterus is a thinking organ, just like every other organ in the body. We don't just think with our brain in our head, we think with our whole being. We have many brains and minds. Every cell has intelligence! Finally, in the Western world, we know and realize this and I have to give thanks and acknowledgement to Deepak Chopra and others such as Christine Northrop, Carolyn Myss, and Dr. Jewel Pookrum (Sanut) to name a few for serving as authoritative figures in this respect and regard.
I also thank the many quantum physicists out there as well, who also serve as authoritative figures in this respect and regard.
Now why is it that women who have their uterus removed, instantly and automatically go into menopause? What's the connection?
The uterus is an eliminative organ. This is why women release via their vagina, e.g. vaginal discharge (leucorrhea), menstruum, blood clots, etc.
Removal of the eliminative organ [uterus] means the elimination process of the uterus must now fall on the shoulders of another part of the female body. Clearly, this new locale for healing and elimination falls on the neck, hence "hot flashes" and "sweating." This is a compensatory function for removal of the uterus. Well, why then do women who keep their uterus still experience hot flashes and sweating? Answer: acute uterine atrophy or an almost fully dead uterus due to toxicity. Women undergoing chemotherapy for cancer will also experience hot flashes.
The foregoing applies to very unhealthy women, women who over the years ate horribly (who ate a lot of meat and dairy products, refined grains and starches, junk food, and fats food) and lived horribly (smoked cigarettes, did drugs, drank spirits and wine, took birth control pills and other pharmaceutical drugs), who were sexually indiscriminate and abused their vaginas and who may have contracted various STDs; and who suffocated their vaginas with tight underwear, clothing, and sanitary plugs (tampons).
Healthy women (usually vegan-vegetarian and raw food eaters) do not experience menopause like the average woman, who is unhealthy and not health conscious. Their symptoms if any are very mild; however, if there is severe emotional balance, then they may experience a cumbersome transitional period.
Healing Menopause Naturally
Since menopause is inevitable for many women, the best advice I could give is to prepare for this transition.
Develop a positive mental attitude (PMA). Change your thoughts from negative to positive. Only focus on good things. Yes, this will take some time and a lot of work and many people have years invested in negative thinking, which is why negative thinking is so routine for many people.
Your thoughts create your reality so when it comes to aging, think about and/or see (visualize) yourself aging gracefully and smoothly. See it in advance! Feel it! Stop responding to what you are observing in other women who are and who have experienced menopause. These women constantly complain about their hot flashes and other menopausal symptoms and they do this constantly and repetitiously and thus have programmed themselves to be complainers and in complaining they are sending energy to what they are complaining about which causes what they are complaining about (menopause and its symptoms) to magnify. Where thought goes, energy flows!
Your emotions impact your feeling and/or how you feel. Deal with all of your emotional issues, those emotions that are negative and those that are predicated upon stale energy. Too many women hold on to negative emotions or emotions that don't serve their best interests. Negative emotions store in the tissues of a woman's uterus. This is why I say that negative emotions play a role in all female reproductive pathologies. Remember, the uterus is located above the Second Chakra, which is the seat of emotions for a female, in addition to her sexuality and relationships with lovers.
Stale energy can be released via deep breathing. Give yoga a try! Stretching and chakra balancing also helps to remove stale energy.
Release stale energy and negative emotions, e.g. anger, bitterness, regret, jealousy, envy, wanting to get revenge, apathy, etc. they are no good for your health and block you from receiving your true desires, e.g. true love, wealth, abundance, prosperity, success, peace, and happiness.
Modify your diet. Refrain from eating dead, slaughtered animal flesh (meat) dairy products, refined grains and starches, and processed foodstuffs. Eat more raw fruits and vegetables (organic, if possible). Consider a vegan and/or raw foods diet. Drink plenty of water and good herbal teas that benefit the female hormonal system, herbs such as Red Raspberry Leaf, Red Clover, Saw Palmetto, False Unicorn, Blue Cohosh, Dong Quai, Ashoka, Wild Yam Root, Black Cohosh, Pennyroyal, Mugwort, and Beth Root.
Dherbs.Com has just introduced its new Female Health tea', which contains many of the herbs supra. Drinking one cup of this tea per day will go a long way in the area of female reproductive health.
Convert to a healthy lifestyle! Refrain from worldly vices such as smoking cigarettes, drinking wine and spirits, wearing unhealthy clothing, using harmful hygiene products (especially commercial brand female sanitary products), and indiscriminate sex with unworthy partners to name a few.
Live righteous! Be righteous!
Exercise! Walk daily (in proper shoes and on sand, grass, or dirt). Swim, stretch; perform yoga, tai chi, qi chong, pilates, etc. Be healthy!
Perform crystal therapy or have it performed on you by a trans-crystal therapist. Excellent stones and crystals that help in cases of all female complaints including menopause include Carnelian, Ammonite, Malachite, Tiger's Eye, Green Jade, and Moonstone. These crystals and gemstones can be laid directly on the skin of the belly and right above the vagina (for about 15-30 minutes per day while meditating).
Perform hydrotherapy (utilizing aromatherapy)! Hydrotherapy is water therapy (soaking). Read our article entitled the "Benefits of Hydrotherapy and Steam" to learn and/or understand more about this healing modality.
Aromatherapy is invaluable in addressing menopause. Good essential oils to use (burn in a diffuser, to inhale, or to add to bath water) include Rose Geranium, Clary Sage, Combava, Fennel, Cananga, Pink Lotus, Blue Yarrow, and Angelica.
To cool and soothe hot flashes, place a bottle of rose water (hydrosol) in the refrigerator (to keep cool) and when the need arises, spray the mist over the back of the neck area.
Dherbs.Com formulas that can assist in addressing menopause include the Full Body Detox, Total Woman Cleanse, Female Hormonal Formula, Moon Cycle Formula, Yoni Formula, Circul-Aid Formula, Female Health Tea, and Female Toner Inspirant.
I recommend that women perform the Total Woman Cleanse at least once a year for optimal female reproductive health.
