That's right! YOUR life is what you make of it! Mythologist Joseph Campbell said it best when he said: "Life is without meaning. You bring the meaning to it." Oh so true!
 People, it is YOUR life and you can do what YOU will or want with it. It's YOUR choice and always has been. You and I were born with choice but we were conditioned to give that choice to someone or something else. Who did the conditioning? Answer: the Matrix (i.e. school, religion, society, parents, law enforcement, politics, etc.). But that which is conditioned can be unconditioned.
The good thing about all of this is that we learned a valuable lesson from giving our choice away to others, well, at least a few of us learned. We experienced something: powerlessness, humiliation, fear, weakness, inadequacy, etc. These things are polarities! Polarities of what we really need to experience and experience permanently, i.e. POWER (personal power), STRENGTH (personal strength), AUTONOMY (personal autonomy), FREEDOM (personal freedom), etc.
People, life is a canvas, an empty canvas waiting for YOU to paint YOUR picture, the picture of YOUR life. You are an Artist! So why aren't YOU painting and painting what YOU desire?
You are also an Alchemist! So why aren't YOU converting base ideas into golden ideas?
You are also a Magician, so how come YOU are not working or performing YOUR magic?
Okay, so your excuse is you forgot due to being bamboozled by the Matrix, but now you have just been reminded, so what's your excuse NOW?
You don't have any money or enough money to do the things you really desire to do? Weak excuse! You see, we have been programmed to be money conscious but we should actually be wealth and abundance conscious, for money (Federal Reserve Notes) is a part of wealth and abundance. Stop chasing money and allow wealth and abundance (and thus money itself) to flow to you, which you do by starting to "be" and "let go." When you just "be", you allow your creativity to be expressed and one of the universe's simple secrets is "creativity is the precursor for abundance."
In the Bible, there is a parable about the "talents." [Matthew 25:14-30]. In the biblical parable of the talents, money is referred to as talent.' The moral of the parable deals with talent being invested as compared to talent being hidden. In the parable, the men who invested their talent and thus created more talent in return, were blessed (rewarded) and the one man who hid what little talent he had, eventually lost that talent. Now see talent as creativity and apply it to the biblical parable. What you don't use or invest, you will lose. The man who hid his talent ended up with nothing, which we can equate with poverty and lack. And what was the man's reason for hiding (not investing his talent)? Answer: FEAR!
"And I was afraid and went and hid thy talent..." Matthew 25: 25 Folks, fear can result in us losing out on the rewards from investing our talent (creativity).
There is deep meaning in this parable for us today, because basically, in our present world of affairs, if you have some talent (and everybody does), then you have the opportunity to make some money. Period!
Lower talent or higher talent, either way, it allows you to make some money, but higher talent is unlimited and unrestricted.
Prostitutes have talent of a sexual nature. But yet in still they make money for that talent. Bookies have talent and still, they make money. Computer specialists have talent and do they not make money? Folks, even crime is a talent! But you see, this is lower talent however. Talent in and of itself is not bad. It's how we use the talent and for what means, goals, or objectives.
If lower talent makes money, what makes you think higher talent can't or won't make money? When I first got into herbs I was told by a lot of people, including dear friends, relatives, and co-workers, that I wouldn't make money and enough of it to support myself. Well, today, it's a different story for not only can I support myself, but I'm supporting a wife and five children and doing everything I desire to do while these same people are still making a living and operating on survival mode, living a menial existence, and full of negative emotion. But it's their choice to do so like it was my choice to ignore them years ago and follow my heart and take the necessary risks I needed in order to arrive at where I am today in my life.
My Dherbs.Com business partners took a risk (risk of a lifetime) and invested their talents with my talents and we brought unto ourselves more talents and have been greatly rewarded for investing our talents. In less than five years, we are all set for life and all because we were not afraid to take a chance, to take a risk. In fact, back in October 2003, I only had $1,000 to my name (of which $600 was for my rent). Not knowing where my rent would come from, I invested the whole $1,000 (due to my belief in what could and what would eventually transpire with my herbal creations).
The risk I took at the lowest financial point in my life as a grown man paid off in great dividends and resulted in my being at my highest point in life at present; and the amazing thing is, it's not over with or finished and never will be. The possibilities and opportunities are UNLIMITED!
However, I must say that being at my lowest financial point in 2003 was also being at my highest spiritual point at that time as well. My being righteous attracted righteous business partners and resulted in a business predicted upon righteousness, integrity, honesty; love of humanity, animals, and the planet; morals, ethics, and consciousness.
Taking risks creates opportunities, including opportunities of a lifetime. Risk unleashes excitement in your life. My life is the result of numerous risks, reasonable risks, I've taken predicated upon my own personal beliefs that I acted on. Every risk I have ever taken has paid off too! Especially since I see every outcome of a thing as an opportunity to learn and grow from. There is no loss in my life. Because I don't see loss in my life, I can only gain and that's what I have programmed into my consciousness - GAIN! So that's all I attract these days!
 A lot of people (including conscious people) doubt higher creativity's ability to make money and to sustain them (livelihood) and doubt is a great neutralizer of manifestation, especially when it's predicated upon fear. A lot of people allow doubt (along with fear) to stop them from following their heart (inner calling). Like the man in the parable of the talents, they hide their talent deep within themselves (which the Bible calls "earth" as the one man hid his talent in the earth).
As there is lower talent (lower creativity), there is also higher talent (higher creativity). This talent deals with your higher creativity that has its epicenter at your throat, seat of the fifth chakra (called Vissudha in Sanskrit).
Okay, so you sing about positive things or consciousness but you are afraid that your music/songs won't sell because they won't fare well against all the negative music out there that most people unconsciously like to listen to. You may say: "negative music is in demand!" Well, if this is true, demands are created, so how come you are not creating the demand for positive and conscious music? The audience doesn't create the music, the music creates the audience!
Anything that is created automatically creates a corresponding demand and market (audience) for that which is created, but you'll never know if you don't create and advertise what you have to offer.
So if you want listeners of your music - SING! If you want people to buy your paintings - PAINT! But sing and paint with the intention of reaching the people (audience) you desire to reach predicated upon a message you consciously intend to give. Create your audience in your mind. See your audience in your mind! See the audience and the audience will appear! Sing with intention! Paint with intention! Do everything with intention! Intention is key here!
I have a personal philosophy that I use for Dherbs.Com that says: "Create the product and the product will sell pursuant to energy." Creating products create the energy for them to sell (move). However, you can't move what you don't have (and if you sell what you don't have, sooner or later you'll get busted for fraud and develop a bad reputation and a bad reputation and business don't mix).
Create the product and the customer will follow (or materialize). Guaranteed!
I always create a product with human needs in mind. My intention in creating health products is to help people in need to heal. I create from my heart (love, passion) and that's why the money automatically follows and flows. I've learned a very basic law that I put into practice and that has forever changed my life and you know what? YOU can do the very same thing as well! You have the ability to do so in whatever it is that you're good at! Remember, we ALL have talent, at least one talent! When you invest that talent, you create an energy that unleashes or brings about more talent and the more talents you have and invest, the more rewards you will reap from God, Universe, or Source Energy (symbolically styled as the "traveling man" in the parable of the talents') - guaranteed!
My legal documents are very effective because I create them with the intention that they will be accepted by the judge and the thing asked for (remedy at law, right or privilege) will be granted. I infuse a respectable energy in the documents or pleadings, something I used to not do initially due to operating on emotions and ego in my earlier days pertaining to my study and performance of law. I learned on my own that ego and emotion have no place in a courtroom, especially when you want something from the court. So when I matured and changed my mindset (thinking, thought process), stopped resisting the system who I thought took away my sovereignty, and changed my language and strategies, I was more successful in the field of law, statutory law, a field of law I used to despise and resisted, as far as preparing legal pleading for other people. Personally, I was always successful in law but it used to be a serious struggle due to my combative energy and spirit as well as anger at the system. Nowadays, there is no struggle whatsoever as I totally understand the game today and how to successfully play it (get something from it).
Today, the System I used to despise benefits me and serves me, the way our system of law was originally set up to do for the American people. The System didn't change. I did! It's much easier to change what you have control over as compared to what you don't have control over, which creates struggle if you're not wise enough to know this gemstone of truth.
If you think of a service to provide, you can best believe it is needed, regardless of what it may be. This principle is highlighted in the classic book, "Acres of Diamonds." I purchased a $5 copy of this 1921 book while dining at Ital Calabash vegan restaurant in Berkeley, California and it truly helped to transform my life, business-wise.
In my personal opinion, there is no better industry or area to be in than service. Where there is need, there is the need for a service. I always knew that in taking care of people, people would take care of me. There is truly power in the people so why not service or serve people (and with good intention)?
It amazes me that books like "Think and Grow Rich" have not sold the same number of copies as the number of the American population because just about everybody in America wants to be rich, and here you have a book entitled "Think and Grow Rich" and it has not sold 300 million copies! Now what better and easier way to become rich? The man (author, Napoleon Hill) is telling you that to become rich all you have to do is think (use your mind). He didn't say go to college and grow rich or work a nine to five and grow rich! The man said: "Think" and grow rich, and what does the average American not do or not like to do today? Answer: Think! And then is it any wonder the average person is not rich and struggling just to survive and make ends meet? Well there you go! People are not thinking and thinking on a higher level. You have grown adults thinking and speaking on a second grade level. Basically, grown people are childish today, intellectually and mentally. And is there any wonder there's so much fighting and doing other things to other people over petty and trivial reasons?
You see, clearly there must be a correlation between thinking and riches, or the mind and riches.
It is time for us to make more of an investment into our lives! We are the Chef and our life is the dish. The Chef, Artist, Alchemist, etc. all CREATE! We are creators but are not creating, well, at least the things we desire to create!
If your life is empty, it is YOUR fault and you have no one else to blame. You have simply been derelict in YOUR duty and ability to create. Period!
If you feel YOUR life has no meaning, it's because YOU have failed to give it meaning. Again, life is without meaning. You bring the meaning to it as Campbell wisely stated.
Folks, "the meaning of life is whatever YOU ascribe it to be." Joseph Campbell also stated this. But he gives up the jewel in his final statement of this powerful quote and that is: "Being alive is the meaning."
Basically, you have to start living, People! You're alive but you're not living and you're also living but not alive. A little oxymoronic, but never-the-less true! As William Braveheart' Wallace said: "Every man dies, but not every man really lives!"
To start being alive is to "be" and "let go."
Life is worth living for, but only YOU can determine the worth. YOUR life is what YOU make of it. YOU are free to make of YOUR life whatever it is YOU desire.
