God does not heal in the way we think or have been taught that God heals. God does not directly heal us. When you understand all the tools God originally gave us to remain healthy, tools that still exist, you will then realize that God heals us in an indirect way based upon actions we must take. God does not do the healing while we do absolutely nothing. We all have our work to do in healing ourselves.
 God does not heal anyone because God does not make anyone sick! God has nothing to do with our sickness. If we are sick, we are sick because of things we thought, ate, and did, either in this present life or perhaps a past life. We are sick simply because we have deviated from God's natural way via our free will and the way to true healing is simply to return to God's natural way.
You may ask, "What is the natural way?" Well, in the word "natural" is the word "Nature" or "All Nature." God's way is mapped out in Nature. We get sick because we deviate from Nature. And not only have we deviated from Nature as a human collective, we have warred against Nature, we have violated Nature, we have polluted and corrupted Nature stupidly attempting to improve upon Nature as if Nature needed improving upon.
To go against Nature is to go against ourselves and thus become suicidal, an approved suicide or approved suicidal tendencies because it is embraced by the collective of humanity, especially those of us who are not free, critical, and independent thinkers simply because we unwisely trust and believe in every single thing government, corporations and their media tells us.
People who think God will heal them simply on the strength seriously err. You must understand that sickness and disease both teach us a valuable lesson, usually about how we are living life, about how we are thinking, about the state of our attitude, and about what we are eating and how we are eating. Disease conveys a most timely message.
If the purpose of disease is to convey a message, usually a life-changing message, why would God heal you without you learning the necessary lesson you need to know and learn?
Disease is also a warning - a warning to change your errant and backward ways! Why would God heal you without you becoming conscious to the warning and adhering to the warning?
If God healed you without your learning the lesson you need to learn for purposes of your growth and evolution, well, after you get healed, because you still remain ignorant, you'd simply go back to doing the very same things that made you sick and diseased in the first place.
It's like church people who go to church every Sunday begging for repentance from the Lord but after church they go right back to ungodly things and insalubrious things which lands them right back in church the following Sunday pleading with God for more repentance. These people are not learning their lessons for if they did learn them, they wouldn't have to ask for repentance because there'd be nothing to repent from. These people don't understand the Law of Cause and Effect, one of many universal laws.
 You eradicate or change any effect by dealing with the cause of that effect. So if sickness and disease is the effect, what is the cause? Is it poor diet? Negative thoughts? Bad attitude? Is it insalubrious and unrighteous lifestyle? What is the cause that leads to the effect of sickness and disease? You must figure this out!
For God to heal you while allowing you to remain ignorant (about how and why you got sick) would be a great and serious disservice and injustice on the part of God. It's like a teacher knowing a student has not learned the lessons of sixth grade but allows the student to graduate and go on to junior high school and the seventh grade because the student simply wants to advance despite not being qualified. This would be injurious to the student because the student would not be prepared to handle what junior high school and seventh grade presents. You have to be qualified for a thing, even healing. Everybody doesn't get healed simply because they want to be healed. Healing requires qualification. You must qualify pursuant to will or will power. You must have the willpower to heal. You must be willing to change your diet in order to heal. You must be willing to change your mind and thought process in order to heal. You must be willing to change your lifestyle in order to heal. You will not heal simply because you want to heal. You must qualify for your healing. You must learn the lesson(s) encoded in or brought to you by the disease or diseases.
God does not heal you! You heal yourself, for after all, it was you who made yourself sick in the first place. God only provides you with the necessary tools by which you heal yourself and those tools include your mind, medicinal and therapeutic plants (herbs), crystals, essential oils, water, sunlight, air (oxygen), and fruits to name a few of these tools. God created the tools which helps us to heal ourselves.
God heals us, but it is not direct and it is not without our participation, like we don't have anything to do in our healing and healing quest.
I watched my mother succumb to pancreatic cancer and knew she would succumb because I understand dynamics about life that she, my siblings, and extended family members did not know about or understand. Yes, she prayed to God like crazy every day and for months too, and still succumbed to cancer.
My beloved mother accepted Jesus Christ as God Almighty (because that belief system was given to her by her mother as a little girl) and she prayed to Jesus daily and nightly while sick. I even came by my grandmother's house (where my mother ended up staying in her final months) and saw my mother on her knees praying and all I could do was keep quiet. I knew my poor mother was on her knees wasting her time. Why? Well, because I knew my mother was riddled with fear- fear of cancer, fear of the prospects of dying from cancer and I know that God and fear cannot co-exist! I knew fear cancels out miracles, it cancels out faith, and it cancels out healing. Fear paralyzes and restricts. Fear is a poison! I knew this, but my mother and my family members didn't and what do you do when people are ignorant and close-minded? You simply let them be, even if the result is death because no matter what, you must respect another's free will even if they use their free will to harm themselves due to their ignorance.
 I witnessed my mother pray to Jesus but with a visible and noticeable fear. You see, due to the ignorance my mother learned from my grandmother and her Christian reverend, Rev. Jerome Fisher, my mother simply thought she could pray to God (while in fear, mind you) and that was all she had to do. My mother's prayers were fruitless due to her fear. You can't pray for healing and then worry about dying from a disease. It creates a block.
Many people have been healed from prayer alone but that's because they focused only on their desire (for healing) and did not focus on what they didn't want (death). They had true faith and they didn't share their faith with fear. These people believed they could and would be healed. But I knew despite all the prayer and praying, that my mother didn't believe that she could or would be healed. She was driven by fear and not love, strength, and trust (in God or herself). Doctors gave her a death sentence, or, actually, she gave herself a death sentence for believing in what doctors told her.
My mother could have been healed but only if she believed she could. Belief is so important in healing. It really is. And no matter what you're facing or dealing with, with God all things are possible!
So God does not heal you, at least not directly and with you not participating in your own healing process. You have to be present and active in your healing process. You have to be conscious in your healing process. You have to have faith in your healing process. You must believe in your healing process.
God does not heal you! You heal yourself by going back to what God initially ordained for man - following the ways of Nature! You heal yourself by getting back on the right road, the road of Nature and living in tune and in harmony with her and foregoing the harmful ways of man.
The ancient cultures of the Native Americans, Africans, Asians, Australians, and even Europeans may have somewhat differed from each other in some respects, but one thing's for sure is that these people acknowledged Nature.
Industry and technology has made modern man forget about Nature. Despite all the industrial and technological progress on Earth, especially in the United States, man has gotten sicker. Man is sicker today than he's ever been, especially in the United States.
We must return to the natural way and that is Nature, our real and true Mother. Return to the Way (Tao) and be healed!
