Follow Your Heart

The best advice I could ever give a person would be to FOLLOW YOUR HEART! That's right! Follow your heart (heart's desire) by any means necessary. It's the cure for a boring, menial, routine, mediocre, and unsatisfactory life.

I truly believe that heart disease is the number one killer of Americans not only because of dietary reasons but for emotional and spiritual reasons as well predicated upon the fact that a lot of people really don't "have a heart" (are compassionate, loving, and caring), don't "have heart" (courage), and have a "broken heart" (hurt in the area of love).

Words are vibrations and our bodies respond to vibration. Truly, a "broken heart" will adversely affect the heart organ just as a person, circumstance, or event that is a "pain in the neck" will adversely affect the physical neck. Words affect our emotions and emotions affect our health and well-being.

As a spiritual counselor, I assist people in any area of need, especially matters of the heart. I have deduced from my personal observations and sessions with people that the primary or greatest reason for unhappiness, sickness and disease, sorrow, and dissatisfaction in life stems from people not being true to their heart's desire. Generally, people don't follow their hearts and usually it's because they are following their minds.

To follow your heart means to be true to your higher self, your higher purpose here on Earth, to do the thing or things you greatly enjoy and love to do all the time and could actually do everyday and without pay. To follow your heart is to, in the words of Joseph Campbell, "Follow your Bliss!"

Your bliss and true love(s) in life are in your heart. Your heart is a vault that encloses and protects your treasures. It protects your treasures (desires, memories, things you love and are dear to you) from the scum (negative reinforcement) of the society and people within the society who are and who would be too fast to try and extinguish the passion of your heart's desire.

When the Gospel Jesus says "Lay up yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal", he's talking about the heart, your spiritual center, and thus, your spiritual kingdom (spiritual state of existence).

The things of the heart are always carried over from lifetime to lifetime. The good and love in your heart carries over into the Light after we physically transition from the Earth plane. You were given a glimpse of this in the movie "Ghost" where Sam tells Molly before entering into the Light that the love in your heart is felt and carries over.

Things in and of the heart carry over to the Other side, good or bad. Positive things (feelings) in the heart allow you to move forward after death, to enter into the Light; negative things prevent you from moving forward and entering into the Light and thus keep you stuck in between worlds as a lost soul or worse, a demented and deranged soul (poltergeist).

Your higher life purpose or mission is encoded in your heart. You activate your higher life purpose when you follow your heart and do the things you greatly desire to do and without care (of what others think) and without compromise. Whatever it is that you greatly desire to do is what you should be doing. Period!

If you desire to help people, that's because you are supposed to be helping people. You chose to come to Earth in this present incarnation to do such.

Now what ever you are doing at present and really don't want to be doing is because of yourself (your own self doing), and a choice you made, usually under an illusion, e.g. fear, poverty consciousness, dependence, mistrust in God/Universe, etc. and/or lack of faith (in yourself, God/Universe).

The majority of people in this country are not doing what they really desire and love to do. Your work should be what you like and/or love to do. Period! This would give you untiring satisfaction, passion, ambition, desire, energy, enthusiasm, zest, and creativity to continue doing what you love to do for the rest of your life on Earth. Imagine getting paid doing work you love and desire to do and could and would actually do for free. It's a very powerful and rewarding feeling. It really is!

Most people are not and will not follow their heart because they are tied to the Matrix, which fills them up with numerous illusions, especially fear. People have compromised following their heart under the illusion of having to make a living, which is really bullshit! You are not here for a J-O-B! You are here for a higher soul or spiritual purpose. One of these days (or lifetimes) you are going to figure this out.

There's a difference in "making a living" and "living your making." The majority of citizens (people) are missing out on living their heart's desires due to having to pay bills. Life is bigger than bills! We only have bills due to being cut off from the reality of God/Universe. Water is free but the use of water is not. Energy is free but the use of energy is not. Fire is free but the use of fire is not. We are only paying for the use of things freely provided to us by God and Nature.

The Rulers pimp us through dependence on the use of natural resources in a refined state. Petroleum is in the Earth and may even be in your backyard, just like diamonds (carbon), but you are prevented from extracting and refining such resources due to regulations created by greedy men who hide under and behind the fiction of body politics called corporations; the number one corporation being government (a municipal corporation). This is how monopolies are created.

Every month when you pay your bills, you are paying for things God has already supplied you with. Your house is made of wood, which comes from the Earth. Your drinking water comes from the lakes and oceans of the Earth. Your gas comes from the Earth. Your electricity comes from the Earth's atmosphere and the Universe. Your food comes from the Earth, be they animals or vegetation. God has placed no fee on these things. The fee comes on the usage and refinement of these things. If you want to use these resources in city life, then there's a fee; for if you were in nature, there would be no fee for these resources.

In the Sufi sect of Islam, they have a saying of Jesus in which Jesus tells us that everything we work for is already provided:

"Jesus said: 'You work for the world, heedless that your daily bread is provided for, without that effort; yet you do not labor for the hereafter, the benefits of which cannot be reaped without your working for it.'" Jesus In the Eyes in the Sufi, page 86

The attachment to bills (i.e. home mortgage, apartment rent, car note, medical/health insurance, school intuition, automobile insurance, child support, alimony, utility bills, credit cards, and department stores charge cards) for survival purposes, keep most people from following their heart.

Bills should not prevent us from following our hearts (doing what we desire/wish and love to do). As long as you are in the society (especially the city) you will have bills, but they shouldn't have that much power to paralyze us and prevent us from being happy stemming from doing our heart's desires.

Financially rich people have bills (utility bills) but you don't see them letting bills stop them from living up their lives doing what they desire to do. And yes, they may have more money than you at the present time but that is because they follow their heart and do what they want to do which frees them up to be even more creative and to make more money.

The more time you have on your hands to follow your desires and to be creative, the more money you will make and have. But you could never do this working a 9 to 5 (which really comes out to 10-12 hours when you consider most people work longer than eight hours a day) and slaving for somebody else.

When I began pondering on the difference between rich people and poor people many years ago, I discovered the key was liberal arts versus manual arts. People who use their minds have more time and energy than people who use their bodies, plus, they make more money. The key was the mind (the mental), and this led me to mental science.

Judges and prosecutors make more money than police officers that risk their lives everyday in performing their jobs. You would think police officers would make more money than judges and prosecutors who sit around on their asses all day thumbing through paperwork, but not so. Judges and prosecutors are more mental than cops, who are really not required to use their minds. Cops don't think! They just follow orders (procedures) like programmed robots. No offense to all you law enforcement officials out there. It's not personal! I have a few friends in law enforcement and they're really good people. Most even have an active conscience and they agree with me regarding my sentiments on law, government, and politics.

Cops are not required to know law, that's why you hear about so many cops breaking the law and violating people's rights when carrying out procedures. Law enforcement officer as a term is a misnomer! Cops don't enforce law! You can't enforce what you are ignorant about and lack knowledge of. More correctly, cops are code enforcement officers. They enforce codes (e.g. Vehicle Code, Penal Code, Health and Safety Code), which are not law at all, but statutory contractual provisions.

Every code is unconstitutional until a person agrees to be bound by them pursuant to contract in the form of an application. A driver's license is first obtained via an application. If you and I were required by law to have a driver's license, how come we have to apply for it? Shouldn't the license just come in the mail automatically? Why apply for what you must have? So when you obtain a driver's license and then violate the Vehicle Code, you breached the contractual agreement to not do a specified thing (e.g. speed, run a red light, park in the red, cross a lane, make a U-turn, etc.).

You are brainwashed in the public school (fool) system via driver's education that you need a license to get behind the wheel, but you only need a license to drive as driving is a regulated industry. You don't need a license to travel because traveling is a fundamental right and a state cannot require you to obtain a license before engaging in or exercising a right, but people sign up for the license scheme anyway mainly out of ignorance, undue influence, convenience, coercion or duress, and/or fear; and the participation puts hundreds of millions and even billions of dollars into state, county, and city coffers via parking and traffic tickets while greatly inconveniencing the average person who really doesn't have the time to go to court during the week and during work hours to fight the ticket and government knows this and that's why they give people the option of just paying the ticket which most people opt for anyway. Most people know that if they fight or contest the ticket, they'll have to take off from work and thus lose money. The scheme is perfectly thought out.

Every time a cop impounds somebody's car for expired registration, he/she violates the person's Fourteenth Amendment right in that no person shall be deprived of property without due process of law, which is a constitutional provision. But the cop does not listen to constitutional arguments or adhere to the Constitution (though he/she took an oath to uphold it). The cop follows the statutory Vehicle Code which is a secondary law that is supposed to harmonize with the Supreme law, the United States Constitution. But if you have a situation where the cop is legally ignorant and the person being violated is also legally ignorant, the outcome can't be anything other than tyranny. Tyranny can only survive where there is ignorance and approval of tyranny via silence and participation.

Professional athletes make millions of dollars per year, but they don't make more than the team owner and that's because the team owner is mental. Michael Jordan may have made $30 million a year in his last years as a Chicago Bull, but he didn't make more than team owner Jerry Krause. Jordan was physical, and Krause was mental.

Builders (construction workers) don't make more money than architects. The building that builders are physically building came out of the mind of the architect. The architect is mental.

Learning this propelled me into cultivating my mind via the pursuit and application of knowledge. True wealth is mental. Material wealth always follows mental wealth applied rightly.

It is unwise and a sin not to follow your heart. To not follow your heart is to not trust God or the Universe. It is a sign that you lack faith. You can't have faith in God or the Universe and then not have faith in following your heart. You can't believe in God or the Universe and then have a fear of taking a risk or risks or chances in life. Risk is more a natural part of life than security. Risk leads to growth and new experiences unlike immobility due to security and convenience. And are you really secure and convenient in your so-called security and convenience? Do you really have job security? Jobs shut down and relocate all the time. But God and the Universe never shut down and relocate. They are always there and always with you. It's the greatest assurance, security, and convenience there is and that you could have. We have been stripped of assurance (divine assurance) and have been given, or actually sold, insurance, i.e. home insurance, car insurance, medical/health insurance, etc.

You would be wise to take the leap of faith. You cannot look down off the cliff and expect to see the net. You will not see the net if you look first before jumping. You must have faith. You must jump first and then the net will appear. Security comes from insecurity; guarantee comes from no guarantee; and true convenience comes from inconvenience. So remove yourself from the illusion of your comfort zone. Become insecure. Lose your guarantees because there are no real guarantees in life on the mundane level. Inconvenience yourself by taking a risk, a chance, perhaps and possibly, the opportunity or risk of a lifetime. Get out of the knowing and get into the mystery, the mystery of life.

Follow your heart RIGHT NOW! The past is a memory and the future is only a vision, but the present is real! As Sufi mystic and poet Rumi said: "This moment is all there is!" and as Osho said: The present is all you ever have."

Follow your bliss RIGHT NOW! Today! Don't live your life in fear and with thoughts of what could have been. This will only lead you to a life full of bitterness, regret, and anger.

Take a chance! Every chance is an opportunity. Failure does not exist. There is no such thing as failure, only results not desired, which can be improved upon and the desired result can eventually manifest or be attained.

As Olivia Newton John said in a hit song of hers: "Believe in magic, nothing can stand in our way." So we have to believe we are magic! If we believe we are magic, we become magic and magical! This is true! Take it from me!

Don't be afraid! Fear is not natural! Fear paralyzes! Fear will prevent you from truly living and enjoying life. Bette Midler says in her hit song, 'The Rose,' "The soul afraid of dying never learns to live." If you are afraid of dying right now, it's because you are not living and living thoroughly, passionately, and intensely in the present moment. Start taking reasonable chances and risks right now predicated upon faith in God/Universe to protect and provide for you and watch the miracles begin to unfold and consistently.

I use the word "reasonable" above because a lot of people may not understand what I'm saying and suggesting here. I'm not telling anyone to quit their job today without having next month's rent paid. Start off small with your leap of faith and then gradually enlarge them. There is no one leap of faith. There are many! There may be that first leap of faith, but there are many more to follow.

Save up some money (for six months rent) and give yourself some time to experience your leap of faith. If you were to quit your job today and not have any money to pay next month's rent, you'd greatly worry (about getting evicted) and this would block your desires from manifesting. You would not be open to allow your desires and dreams to manifest.

A lot of people are not receiving their desires because they are not open to receive them due to distractions that stem from emotional states that stem from present life issues and observation and reaction to them.

Dreams and desires manifest rapidly when the mind is peaceful and filled with enthusiasm, excitement, happiness, and serenity. Negative emotions cause blocks that prevent your desires and dreams from manifesting.

So be reasonable in all that you do. Faith should always be buttressed with wisdom, intelligence, and vision. Faith alone is dangerous! Faith that you can jump off the Empire State Building and will not die because God will catch you is damnable. Faith cannot undo Natural law, but must work in accordance and harmony with Natural law.

So, if there is a person you are attracted to and desire to get to know right now, PROCEED! Develop faith and feel good about yourself and approach that person. You have nothing to lose and all to gain. Play out things in your mind first. See things as you would desire them to be. The physical always follows the mental. Follow your heart! Don't game face - be yourself, be honest! Be the person the other person will come to know in due time.

If there's a better job opportunity that you desire, GO FOR IT! Follow your heart! Think positive and feel confident and proceed uncompromisingly. Ignore that voice in your head (that comes from programming within the Matrix) that you are inadequate, not worthy, or unqualified.

If you have been desiring to start your own business and to be your own boss, GO FOR IT! Follow your heart!

Have you been diagnosed with cancer and given a limited time to live or have been diagnosed with a so-called incurable disease and have been thinking about doing some alternative (natural) treatment to beat the fatal or chronic condition? GO FOR IT! Give it a chance! Take a risk (opportunity)! You have nothing at all to lose, except your diseased state or condition!

Been thinking about just up and going somewhere (Sedona, Arizona; California; Egypt, Mexico, etc.)? Make it happen! Take the journey!

If you want to write, paint, dance, sing, perform, help people, serve humanity, the animals, or the planet, GO FOR IT! Today! Now is the time! There's no better time or timing than RIGHT NOW! As Osho said: "The present is all you ever have!" As Rumi said: "This moment is all there is!"

Don't worry about money (making money). Follow your heart and money and everything else will naturally follow. If you need money or assistance for your higher life endeavor and mission, simply ask! Ask who? God, the Universe, your angels, and/or your spirit guides! What ever you may need is there and already provided for. Access your universal bank account. When you serve the greater good, you are given everything you are required to perform your higher self's work.

So dream the impossible dream! Follow your bliss! Do things "YOUR WAY." Have no regrets in life! If today were your last day alive on Earth, what would you do? Who would you share it with? Who would you like to be around you? What would you eat? What would you wear? Where would you go?

Fly above the ordinary! Live your life without limits. Let spirit carry you! Anything is possible!

I would not be who I am today, doing what I do today, and living how I am living today had I not followed my heart and caved into the illusion of fear and dependence on the Matrix predicated upon poverty, lack, and scarcity consciousness.
